The Secrets In This House

Chapter 1: The Move

Y/N P.O.V.

I am 19 years old, I live in LA in a condo on top of a coffee shop downtown, as others call it, I call it home. I have been talking to this guy on insta for about 4 months now and we've met up a couple times. His name is Colby Brock, he's a YouTube and I've seen some of his videos. Who am I kidding I've seen ALL of his videos. Colby is a tall, ocean blue eyed, dark brown hair, perfectly toned skin man, and a deep raspy voice. He is soooo HOT. But, I can't have a relationship with anyone that isn't like me... I'll explain what I mean later.

I walk outside and almost immediately I hear all these voices overlapping one another. I feel overwhelmed with all the voices in my head. I look at the people, but their mouths were saying something different from what I heard. I knew exactly what was going on so I took a deep breath and focused on one specific song "Into III" by: NF, my favorite rapper. Then, all of the voices go away, I walk calmly down the street with my mocha latte, extra foam, and extra light ice, when I see the trash can to the right of me down an alley levitate, I quickly grabbed my hand and shoved in my pocket, as the trash can slammed to the ground, everyone looked my direction, and I quickly ran off. I ran down another empty alleyway and looked to make sure no one was there and closed my eyes and poof I was in another alleyway next to Tender Greens, where I am supposed to meet Colby for breakfast. Quickly before I walked in I took a pill, adderal, it helped me stay calm.

I walk in and see Colby looking out the window then at me, he smiled, and I blushed when I heard someone say "I can't wait to get into those panties," I look around and see a middle aged man about 30 something years old, as he walked toward me, Colby stood up and walked toward me even faster and put is arm around me and walked me to the table. "Thanks Colbs", I said as I sat down in front of him. "No problem, that guy was looking at kinda funny, and I got suspicious", he said chuckling as he removed his big buff arm from around me and walked over to his seat. I looked confused and asked "you didn't hear what he said?" "No, did he say something?" Colby asked with a concerned look on his face. "Oh... um... no sorry, I thought he said something", I said looking embarrassed. "I need to control my powers and think before I speak so he doesn't get suspicious. I wonder why I can't hear his thoughts... I can't let him know that I'm a electi" ( Latin for the chosen ones, a new human species w/incredible powers, telicanisis, idk if I spelled that right or not, teleportation, and telepathy) I thought to myself, as I spaced out, I heard a faint voice and I came back to earth. "Y/N? Y/N!" Colby finally got to me. "Hey, where'd you go?" He said with a chuckle. "Huh... oh um... nowhere just um... just thinking, sorry." I said as I blushed in embarrassment. "So, um... how have you been?" I ask Colby breaking the awkward silence. "Oh, um... good, yeah, I've been good. How 'bout you?" He asked trying to act like this wasn't awkward. "Oh yeah, I've been good too!" I said tying to read Colby's thoughts, but it was like he was blocking me.

Colby's P.O.V.

I really like this girl and I want to get to know her but I can't work up the nerve to ask her on a date. Yeah we hang out as friends, but I don't want to be friends, I want more. As I was about to say something most likely stupid, the waitress came to our table for our orders. "What can I get you two today?" The lady asked as I jerked my head toward Y/N notifying her to order first. "I would like... um... the 4 piece chicken tenders with a medium fry please." She ordered happily. "I'll what she's having." I told the waitress. Y/N looked at me with a smile, I blushed looked down when I remembered what I wanted to ask Y/N. "Y/N!" I kinda yelled, Y/N jumped a little, I laughed . "Sorry, um I didn't mean to scare you." "No, it's totally fine, what's up?" "Um... well we've been talking for a while now..."

Y/N's P.O.V.

"Um... well we've been talking for a while now..." Colby trailed off and looked away from me, I blushed hoping and praying that he was asking me out. My prayers weren't answered but I got the next best thing. "I was wondering if you would like to move in with me and the roommates. And before you say no just know the roommates are totally cool with it, they were the first on-" "Of course I will Colby, I'd love to live you and the trap house" I said quickly cutting him off, giggling a little.

Colby's P.O.V.

"Of course I will Colby, I'd love to live with you and the trap house" she said cutting me off and giggled a little. "Really?" I asked shocked by how quick she answered. "Of course Colby! The house is awesome and the thought of being the videos of the legendary trap house of THE Cole Robert Brock!" She joked. "Well, then you wanna go to famous trap house?" I asked sarcastically "DUH!" She yelled as half of the restaurant turned and looked at us. We giggled and I paid and left a tip and left.

We drove to the house singing along to the radio we had super loud "Woke up in a cell where am I at? Yeah it's cold but I like that!!" Screaming at the top of our lungs laughing and rapping and trying not to die of coughing in the car. When we arrived at the house Y/N rushed out of the car and banged on the door like she was the police. Sam came to the door horrified by the force of Y/N's knock. "Oh he-" Y/N quickly goes in for a hug cutting Sam off. "OMG I'm so sorry Sam I just got excited." She says nervously "Nah, it's all good. So I'm guessing you said yes to moving in with us?" "Heeellls yeah I did!" She yelled causing the other roommates to come downstairs. Everyone got in line to hug Y/N one by one, Devyn was last and they talked about what they are going to do together like shopping and movies and to find her a boyfriend which mad me cut in the conversation. "What was that I heard? A boyfriend?" I said smirking at Y/N "Yup we're gonna find Y/N a boyfriend" Devyn said "Well, we should probably get Y/N settled in before we do that" I chuckled

**One Week Time Warp**

Y/N's P.O.V.

It's been whole week and I finally got settled in and had my room just the way I wanted. Colby and I started going to Tender Greens every day for lunch now, and Devyn and I really bonded. The other roommates and I went bowling on Wednesday, skating on Thursday, clubbing on Friday and we chilled at the pool on Saturday. Today is Sunday... I'm so lucky to be here, I just hope I can still keep my secret...
