To say that Yoongi regretted the decision of moving into the apartment was an understatement, the everytime he saw Jimin in the same room as him, he left immediately not wanting to have anymore awkward encounters. The had gone on for a few days.
Now Jimin wasn't trying to be a creep that day... it just happened, he behaved like that because- well there wasn't an exact reason currently but he'd probably come up with an excuse eventually. All he knew was that the older males voice reminded him of a dark chocolate which was admittedly kind of odd and that it only made the situation that he was in worse.
While Yoongi was avoiding him, Jimin finally came up with enough courage to apologise to the older male. He walked up to Yoongi's room ,which had a rug with a cat holding up its middle fingers saying "Go Away", knocking a few times he waited for the door to be opened. Soon the door flew open showing the short pale man. Who clearly had bags under his eyes from doing God knows what. His face showed a mixture of tiredness and annoyance.
"What now,Jimin?"
Rude. Jimin said to himself. Here he was feeling bad for making his new roommate feel uncomfortable on his first day moving in and this is how he was being treated ?
Yoongi, however was starting to lose his patience with the younger. He thought Jimin came to stare at him again since he hadn't said anything yet.
Jimin closed his eyes for a few seconds to gain back the courage that had left his body. Yoongi was about to close the door when Jimin stopped him.
" I'm sorry for being a creep that day and just stared at you. And for when you walked in and saw me half naked and only in my underwear dancing to Sunmi, it's just that she's a queen and i couldn't help myself. When I'm myself I am not as weird as I seem to be and I-"
"It's cool" he said, cutting Jimin off.
"W-what?"
"I'm not gonna repeat myself so goodnight Jimin," the older male stated before closing the door to his bedroom, leaving Jimin staring at his plain white door in utmost shock. He had expected things to go bad or for Yoongi to actually... i dont know offer him a drink?
The next morning was... different. Desipite all Jimins attemps at making conversation with the older male, he was just being ignored again. This made him wonder what he had done wrong again. Jimin was the kind of person that wanted everyone to like him, and almost everyone did since he's such a sweet person. So even though when he apologised to Yoongi he was being genuine, Jimin expected him to like him now.
Yoongi, well, he wasnt exactly a morning person and so he wasn't in the mood for the younger male... at all. He doesn't feel that uncomfortable or awkward around Jimin anymore which is good. This didn't mean he cared enough to sustain a friendship with his new roommate however.
Every morning from then on was the same. Jimin trying to make a conversation, Yoongi ignoring his existence and then leaving for work, then Jimin calling up his best friend, Jungkook, to complain about it.
Jungkook knew how Jimin was. He just hadn't mention it to the boy because he would deny it anyway.
So today Jimin decided to confront the older male when he came home from work.
That night when Yoongi came home from work, he was shocked to see Jimin stood waiting for him by the door. He was sort of shocked, but nonetheless ignore the younger.
"Hyung,"
Yoongi looked at him, signalling him to go on.
"Why do you ignore me when i try to talk to you? I try my best to be kind to you and you ignore me everytime. If you want respect from me, you should at least treat me with respect. Should I stop call you hyung and only say Yoongi from now on?"
The older male rolled his eyes, "Master Jimin, I'm sorry that I dont give a shit about having a friendship with you."
Jimin was shocked to hear the olders response.
"Im going to watch some Netflix in peace. Is there anything youre going to bother me about again Jimin?"
"No hyung, sorry for wasting your time."
