"So, have you heard? I heard that we'll have new students today!"
"So?" Vanessa said to her best friend, Rose, while flipping to the next page of her book.
"Nessie, you're not paying attention!" Rose squealed.
Vanessa lowered her book so that she was at eye level with Rose. Once so, she raised her eyebrow ", I'm not? I'm pretty sure I heard you say we're having new students today."
"No, but it's boys,"Rose said it as if Vanessa was missing something.
"Rosie, what happens if it is boys?"
Rose flipped her head back and forth between her left and right as if to check no one would hear. Once so, she whispered to Vanessa ", I heard they're hot."
Vanessa rolled her eyes and continued to read. If Rose was rambling about hot boys, she didn't want to hear about it. There was already enough boys to talk about in the school. Though she wasn't sure if their lanky and chunky form is considered 'hot'.
She could care less.

Vanessa tapped her foot on the cold-marble floor of the cafeteria. Within the long line of students, she was somewhere close to the front but not quite . Meanwhile, she stared at the chalkboard in which the school wrote the meals being serve for the day.
Cheese Macaroni?
Apple Juice?
Croissant?
She snorted. She knew that the school was pristine and private and expensive and all but the cafeteria never seemed to stick to one country's flavor per a day. At least it was good though, she heard some of the other girls describing how stale and salty other school's lunches were. She shuddered at the memory of the girls' detailed description.
Before she realized anything she was at the front of the line. She quickly grabbed her tray and darted out of the line. Safe from the crowds of students she looked for Rose. The cafeteria was a huge domed-roof room with tables lined everywhere. Despite the school's effort for cleanliness the only time the cafeteria was clean is at midnight when the school was empty.
"Nessie! Over here!" Rose called from a table that already had a few students clustering to sit Rose. Well, she didn't blame them. Rose was a beauty, with her bronze tinted dark hair and almond shaped eyes.
"So have you seen them?" Rose asked once she was seated.
"Who?"
Rose rolled her eyes ", the boys."
"Oh no.I haven't."
"I saw one of them," her best friend said with bright eyes ", He was so dreamy."
"Oh yeah? How did he look like?" she asked, taking a bite off her croissant.
Rose frowned ",You're supposed to butter that. Even so you're supposed to eat your macaroni first."
Vanessa shrugged ",They're both going to end up in my tummy either way."
Loosing a sigh, Rose composed herself and quickly grabbed the chance to explain. "Oh he was tall," said she ", with really broad shoulders. He looked like he could be an actor."
Vanessa snorted ",As if."
Just then Vanessa heard the squealing of a hundred girls at a time and the mutterings from double the amount of boys. She grimaced ",What is that?" Rose looked around and finally squealed ",They're here!"
