It is always said when person loses something precious then he relieases its value.

Same was with arnav when was with in 8months he never relieases her value in his life. But when she left him which happened because of arnav's ego he relieases what he has lost. Then he relieases what khushi is for him.

With the each passing step of khushi going far away from arnav he was feeling suffocating his heartbeat was increasing he felt khushi is taking his life with her and when his heart answered its reason still his Mind said " NO"

Hearing arnav NO naina got confused before she can ask anything from arnav he left the room to control his disturbed emotions which he dont wanted to feel but he was feeling it.

Later when family members asked Naina what happened between arnav and khushi that she left Naina did not told them anything as she herself was confused.

In the evening when arnav come back to home then anjali and nani asked arnav everything firstly arnav refused to tell but later when anjali strictly asked to him arnav told them everything and anjali got very angry even she slapped arnav and anjali and nani scolded Naina also.

If arnav was at fault she was also at fault and place of telling khushi  truth she remain keep quiet and now she should move on from arnav.

But still naina did not listen she asked arnav to marry her as now he has divorced khushi and he did not love her but dont know why arnav refused her. Infact giving his wife position other than khushi in his life brings shiver.

Later Naina looses hope and went back to USA with a determination to move on from Arnav and did not meet him for lifetime and start a new life.

While back in India with a each passing day arnav condition without khushi become miserable now his room and house it started haunting him he  feels lonely even in the presence of whole family he did like  coming to home and he started getting nightmares of Khushi's painful face which was last when she saw him and naina in compromising situation and next day when she left RM.

Not getting proper sleep his health started effecting very much. With each passing time arnav slowly slowly started to releasing at he loved khushi and as soon as he realised he started searching her but did not found her for whole 23yrs in this time period he was living dead body who was living with the hope of get khushi one day and tell her the truth confess his love and ask for forgiveness from khushi. 

While Raizada family especially anjali she did not talk to arnav for many days but later seeing arnav condition she started talking him but she said she will forgive him when khushi will forgive him. and arnav was ok with it because he knows whatever he did with khushi he deserves all this.

Flashback end

" I know Khushi whatever I said it's very tough to trust on it but this is the truth.  " said arnav

Yes Arnav was right Khushi did not trusted on arnav

" When you joined office and first time I saw when you entered with a file  I fell in love with you at first sight since the day I saw you you started effecting me and this was always frustrated me that how can some middle girl class effects me but it happened and my anger on you was actually my frustration. When we have argument over thought on high society man somewhere this triggered me  work to make you mine and without any second thought I decided to do but still never accepted it I wanted this opportunity but my ego never let me accept that i want you in my life for forever marrying was my life was the best decision and letting my ego win over my heart was worst decision"

". When I came back from London from business trip and I did not found you as you went to Lucknow because you don't know I was coming that happened because I wanted to give you surprise but in that absence I relieases my heart was defeated by my mind so when you come back you find me changed and you thought I am angry on you but no khushi no I was not angry but my bloody damm ego my mind took control over my heart and started reminding me why I married which offcoursly not the truth I married because I wanted to marry you . After that I said many things hurted you lot but trust me khushi your every tear was like acid on me whenever I saw you crying and in pain I felt suffocating and in between Naina came so to remain away from you I started spending more time with her. I always felt weak when I see how much hurted when I give more importance to other lady you ever tear pain hurt make me weak. "
