Chapter 3

School has been normal these past few days, no sports trips, no fights, no new relationships, nothing. It's been really boring actually. It's my birthday on Sunday and I can't wait because it means I get cake. I don't have anything planned for this year's birthday I'm just going to go out with my friends somewhere. It's Friday, 54 minutes until I can leave this prison for the weekend.

School finally finished and me, Mia and Megan decided to go to McDonald's after we went to Mias to get changed. We often leave clothes at each others houses because we go there quite a lot and unexpected things happen, like sleepovers and surprise water fights. Mia walks hiem with Lee because they live next door, I'm surprised we haven't yet killed him. He is so immature and tells the rudest, dirtiest jokes. But at times he can be an alright guy. "Hey (y/n)." Lee calls to me, what could he want now. "what up Lee?" I respond. "Yano when levi gave you that water bottle?" he starts. I give him a look to tell him to continue. "how do you know he didn't spit in it?" he asks. "What the fuck Lee?!" I had never heard anything so ridiculous. "I mean if he did spit in you water bottle is that like the equivalent to him kissing you? Like he swapped his spit." Lee continues chatting complete shit all the way home.

"bye Lee!" we all say our goodbyes as Lee walks into his house. When us girls are in the house we just sit on the sofas and do absolutely nothing. "Hey guys" Mia calls. "mm?" I respond lazily. Megan just nods. "I really like Jean." she giggles. We all have a little giggle about her crush on the tall, horse faced male. "why don't you tell him?" Megan asks. Mia now looks upset "because he likes you, Megan!" Mia cries out. An awkward silence fell. And I needed to pee. "I'm going to go pee" I alerted them. 'awkwardest love triangle ever.' I think to myself as I pee. I finished peeing, flushed the chain and washed my hands. "I'm going to get dressed." I call out the my friends. I head up the stairs and pull out my phone itz_jean104 has started a live video an Instagram notification popped up. I click the live video. "oh (y/n) hey." Jean says through the screen, he is with the rest of the boys at McDonald's. I sent a waving emoji then realised me and my two friends were going to McDonald's too. Hey Jean I'm coming to McDonald's too, stay there we need to talk. I sent a comment to his live video "oh uh um ohk then.." he replied.

"Come girls we need to get to McDonald's!" I called out. Soon we were out the door on our way to McDonald's.

At McDonald's I see all the guys. Jean is there still on a Insta live. I burst through the door and waited for my friends to go and order our food, luckily they didn't notice the boys. I slid over to Jean "Jean I need to speak to you." I said quietly. "sure, what's up buttercup?" he flirtatiously replied. "don't try that shit with me right now, I have to know something." I snapped. "uhh ohk what's that swee- uh I mean (y/n)?" I roll my eyes at him. "who do you like?" I ask. "hehe I like everyone. You, my guys, my girls, McDonald's and horses." he gave a stupid answer. "you know what I mean horse face, who do you have a crush on. Yano romantic~ feels." I said. He blushed and said "no one." I groaned. "is it Mia or Megan?" I asked impatiently. "how do you know it's- uh what?" he started to get on my nerves. "so jeany boy, who is it? Mia? Megan? None? Or both?" he looks over my shoulder slightly. I turn my head and see my friends collecting our food. 'shit' I thought. "hurry and tell me!" I demanded. "Mia, I like Mia.." he said shyly. "they why did she say you like Megan?" I ask. "because I don't want her to know, she won't like me." I giggle. "she doesn't like you Jean, she loves yooou~" I skipped away to my food- I mean my friends leaving Jean a blushing red mess. "hey Mia!" I called out to her. "what?" she asked, still in a mood. "I know who likes you!" I tease her. "it's not Jean so I don't care." she sadly says. "but my friend it is you noble steed." I joke. She looks at me confused. "Jean like you, he doesn't like Megan, he used Megans name because he didn't want you to know." a bright smile stretched across her face. "but how do you know?" she asked. "he is over there!" I replied.

Purposely I dragged my friends to sit near to the boys. I think the boys had the same idea of pushing Mia and Jean as close as possible, to the point that they were touching shoulders. "sooo, (y/n), what do you have planned for your birthday?" Mia asked awkwardly. "you know, nothing, eat cake, go to sleep a digit different." I answer. "when's your birthday (y/n)?" Joe asked. "2 days.." I dully replied. "oooo levis is in 2 days too!" Jean said. "we know!" levi and I said in unison. "cute!" Megan squeaked. "uh whatever" I was a little annoyed by this. "well I hope you have a nice birthday levi, me and my friends will be going now, good bye boys!" I said goodbye and dragged my friends out their seats. "happy birthday to you too (y/n)." levi politely said to me, a small smile was sent my way. I flashed a kind smile back and headed out of the fast food restaurant feeling a little happy.
