(Hi, this is my first fanfic so I just wanna say to be ready if there are some "cringe" parts. This will be a ship of Izuku Midoriya x Toga Himiko. Btw some quotes are from the anime but I'm too bothered to check them so I made them up as I remember. Also, the speeches are directed as to their first names.)
What they mean :
- 'Bold+Italic' words = Thoughts (with apostrophes)

Another day at UA High...
\Flashback/
3rd person:
In a small house, there was a short boy who loved to watch pro heroes doing their jobs. He was always energetic and was awed by their hard work. This boy had scruffy hair that was darkish green; however, it was black in some areas. One day, he was watching a video of the number 1 hero's debut, All Might. He was his favourite hero and he loved to watch videos of him in action.
Izuku: Look, mum! Even when there's lots of trouble, he is always smiling! I want to become just like him when I'm a hero!
When it was the time, he went to the doctors with his mum to check what quirk he has.
Later on, the doctor came with the results. However, he had an upsetting look on his face.
Doctor: I'm sorry ma'am but it seems like that your son...doesn't have a quirk. To be more precise, you are quirkless my boy...
After the doctor explained why Izuku was quirkless, Inko and Izuku left to go back home. When they finally did get home, Izuku watched his favourite hero's debut once again.
Izuku: Look, Okaa-san... All Might is always smiling no matter what.
...
Okaa-san, can I ever be a hero like All Might?
Izuku turned around smiling as his eyes sent out waterfalls of salty tears. Izuku's mum runs towards the saddened boy and hugs him while weeping into his chest.
Inko: Oh, Izuku! I'm so sorry. So, so sorry!

\After a couple of years/
Izuku: K-Kacchan, please don't burn that! I got that for my birthday!
Katsuki: I don't care about what you say!
There is one way you can get a quirk. How about you do yourself a favour and take a swan dive over the roof and pray you'll have a quirk in your next life?! You're so damn weak and useless. That's why Deku is the fitting name for you. Especially you!
Bakugo scoffed, burnt the book and kicks Izuku in the gut. Izuku grunts in pain as Bakugou leaves him on the cold, hard floor.
\The following day/
Izuku was attacked by a sludge villain he didn't recognise. He cried and screamed for someone to help, only to have his voice muffled over the villain's sludgy hand. After what seemed like a lifetime, All Might came to the rescue.
