Back to School

When school was almost about to start Divija was meeting all the old teachers and new teachers. She noticed that there was a therapist so when she was meeting her English teacher her mom signed her up for Mr. Steve the therapist. After Divija finished meeting all her teachers she was on her way out when she heard a familiar voice. "Hey what happened over the summer geas you look rough," said the mysterious voice. It was Serafina, Divija's best friend. They have been friends since Kindergarten. "Long time no see Divija, and how's the boyfriend still cute as ever?" "Yes yes, nothing changed now come give me a hug Sera" Serafina and Divija hugged and then Daniel came over. "You two still using those stupid nicknames, Serafina, Divija did you hear me" he joked "Yes we did hear you Daniel and yes we're still using those nicknames" "Oh Serafina bossy like as ever" "Up she never changed" then they all started to laugh. Divija new for sure it was going to be a good year or will it?The first day of school Divija went to her first class which was math. Divija was kinda good at it but not really, she kind of lost all of it a 4th grade but she does good. But unfortunately, she arrived late the first day "great" but thank god she arrived just in time when the bell rang. All through math class she kept playing the words in her head like her favorite song in stuck her head, "I've been watching you for a very long time, my dear." That probably explains why she felt like she was being watched all her life. But she knows she's safe now, math class took about an hour to finish and then she moved to art her favorite class. Art made her feel like she was at home her dream was to become a famous artist.As she was in art class her art teacher assigned an assignment called the spirit of art, which meant you had to paint your own picture from your spirit. But this assignment might be hard for Divija because her spirit is corrupted by darkness, but it used to be full of joy and happiness and laughter. But ever since that night she will never be the same, so Divija raised her hand to ask if you were allowed to use dark colors. Then Mrs.Bluish turned around and said, "Well Divija what color is your spirit?" Divija didn't know how to answer that question but she eventually she said, "my spirit is all black with cracks of light coming out." "Wow, you had some really bad problems often" So after that Divija went to her next class she had no idea what her next class was so she looked up and saw the labeled witch said Soc. Studies class. She walked in and sat and grabbed her soc.studies book and the teacher said to turn to pages "203 & 204" so the whole class turned to pages 203 & 204 Divija looked at the title to see what they were going on work on this chapter it was called "Witchcraft In 16th & 17th Century" then that got Divija to thinking what if that kid who was in her dream what if it was a child which I mean it could be possible you never know, "Oh what am I thinking that's ridiculous" "Miss Wood what did you say" "Nothing nothing Mr. Mitch" "Good." So Mr.Mitch continued to read the Columbus A.B.and C. but Divija was really into this chapter so she read ahead a lot so every time she came to Soc. Studies class she was able to answer all the question and thought, "Hey this is a good method for me getting good grades" but then she just laughs. After the day was over just as she was about to get in her dad's car her boyfriend came running up. He was acting weird for some reason it's like when he had a crush on her when they were in the 3rd grade. Daniel asked, "Want to come over to my house or something?" Divjia looked at her dad he nodded at her to say go ahead have fun or something like that. As they walked away to his house Divjia asked, "Why are you suspicious all of the sudden?" he just looked at her, frowned and said, "What do you mean? I haven't been suspicious at all your crazy." It just went quiet that all you could hear was Divjias crutches clicking on the cold hard sidewalk. Then out of nowhere, Daniel said with a sigh, "Well, something happened at lunch... and it was weird so... so I honestly don't know how they got my number... and well, you know the uh, the people that uh," he paused for what seemed like forever, "Captured you... well, I'm sorry I really don't want to do this" Divjia looked at him with a worried look on her face. Daniel hit her on the back for the head with a stick she fell to the ground she looked at him when she saw the people she hoped she never sees again and then picked her up and then took Daniel with them. He looked around and said, "Wait you said that if I give her to you... you wouldn't kill her or me what are you doing?" The boss looked at him and said, "I don't want some stupid kid rating us out or things like that so you're coming with us." Somehow they expected jail. They got in a police car just to look like a cop patrolling the road. Divjia didn't look too good when Daniel looked at her and she just passed out in the cold itchy seat. Daniel was worried about Divija he was worried, what if they hurt her more than last time and he doesn't want to just sit there and watch his beloved get hurt really bad. What was Daniel supposed to do he couldn't just sit there so he tried to hit one of them but he was just hit right back. His nose was bleeding and also his lip, so Daniel kept thinking of an idea of what to do he knows that he made the wrong choice but he couldn't tell the cops they threatened to kill his family, but he also loves Divija so he was thinking of calling the cops without them finding out but he didn't. Daniel tried to wake Divija up by shaking her and it worked but her mouth was duct taped, eventually, she woke up and tried to speak but she couldn't. Daniel tried his best to comfort her and he was able to comfort her after a while, so Daniel told her about the call and the threat and where they are now. They finally got to there destination and the car stopped and they opened the mine cage and grabbed Divija to see her. "Well Divija you are looking the same but you look pretty beat up oh my bad" Daniel started to freak out and he screamed, " Don't you hurt her you pigs!!!" The boss turned around and gave him a death like a stair, "What did you say boy?" "um..erm.." He starts breathing hard. "What I said was you disgusting people was Don't You Dare Hurt Her!!!!!!!." The boss gave Divija to the two men and walked over to Daniel and took him by the arm and found handcuffs in the front seat and put one end of the cuffs on the rope that held his hands behind his back and the other side to a pole behind them and whispered in his ear, "If you ever call me a pig or a disgusting person again I will kill you and your family" He laughs. Daniel looked at him with the most worried face you'll ever see and never said a single word. The boss walked away and went back to Divija and grabbed her hair and played with it then he brushed the side of her arm. Then finally Divija got the courage to say, "What do you want with me?" And started to cry, "Oh my dear we only do what we were told here." After that, the boss kissed Divija on the head and at first it felt like she was dying.Then in her head, she got a vision and what she saw in it was a kid and she still didn't have her crutches so she had to crawl but it wasn't far. After she was by the kid she went on her knees and asked, "Hey kid are you ok? Wheres your parents and where are we?" The child stopped crying and looked at Divija and what she saw was offal and terrifying. The kid had no eyes, Divija got so scared she fell backward and the light went out and back on and the kid was gone, Divija started to crawl to the only thing she saw and it was a blossom tree. She leaned on it and her head was scrambled and she couldn't think straight. She had so many questions, like what is happening? Also where she was? And why is this happening to her? And who was that kid? Then the light goes out again and this time when they went on she was in a little girl bedroom and she was there as a ghost she couldn't say anything just watch. But what she saw was to little girls fighting and saying, "Why I trusted you why did you tell her ugh", "I'm sorry it just came out my mouth am really sorry", "But you told Morey the bully why would you even be talking to her she's mean to you and me!" "Well I didn't mean to tell her she said that if I didn't tell her what secret I was keeping she would hurt you and bully you for as long as she can" "But...but it was my life secret and you are the only friend I've told now she is going to tell everyone" "I'm...... I'm sorry what can I do to repay you? Please let me do something Esmeralda." "Divija you know what, when you make a mistake you always try to fix it. How about you just let it go and go with your decision." "But...but we've been friends since kindergarten!" "Well we aren't anymore got it..... I'm sorry... goodbye Divija " "No please Esmeralda please!" When Divija saw all of that she knew everything but then the lights went out again and she saw Esmeralda does suicide but Divija wasn't there and she never knew why she did suicide? But because of this vision, she can know why, when Esmeralda was about to jump off a building she said something Divija didn't really catch it but the only words she got was " I love you....." But she started going backward and like she was going down a waterfall and couldn't move then everything went black when she was in a small floor cage and Daniel was there too but was sitting and drawing on a wall Divija couldn't really make out what it was but she decided to call his name so he would help her out. Divija called his name and he responded, "Oh Divija you're awake, here let me help you out of there." "Thank you" "Well the leader gave me the key to let you out when you wake up. He didn't know how you would react but he's really nice now he said he would answer any of your questions so that means nice right?" "I think so" They both laughed. After that Daniel gave Divija her crouches and took her to the boss, "Oh hey sleeping beauty is back, or should I say vision beauty" They laugh "Haha very funny but yes I did have a vision" "Oh that's not the only one you're going to have, your going to have many more but you know her name now right" "Yeah Esmeralda, my old friend until I made a small mistake and then she did suicide and now she's out to get me" "Hey I would say you are now just getting to understand things Divija" "Yes she is boss" "Shut up bird brain!" After that, the three goons started to bicker and fight and that gave Daniel and Divija time to escape and go back home and where they belong. "Signora suckers" when Daniel said that the three men looked at his direction and didn't try to get them they only said one thing, "Ok have a nice night!" Then Daniel and Divija stopped and said in a puzzled way, "Wait you're actually letting us go?" "Well, we did our job." "What was that?" "Well, first of all, Esmeralda wanted us to torture Divija, so we did and sorry about that." "It's ok, I'm recovering and you don't seem so bad." Divija smiles "Anyway, then we got caught by the cops and were put in jail then Esmeralda finally found out and she grabbed the keys, freed us then after that she gave us new orders, she gave us your number Daniel and then we kidnapped you two and then she told us to give Divija the truth and answer any of your questions, and here we now so go, go on leave and go home, but I need to tell Divija something first." So Divija moved forward and stood in front of him, "Ok, what do you want to tell me?" "Divija this is a warning from Esmeralda, Oh my dear Divija you're are never safe, for you see I'm coming back. You're never alone I'm always watching." Divija looked worried at the boss then she told Daniel it was time to go and she grabbed her crutches and limped away. Daniel looked over at the boss and asked, "What did you tell her? TELL ME!" The boss just shook his head and shooed him away. Daniel got really mad and ran after Divija. When he caught up with her and grabbed her by the arm and said, "What did he tell you?" But Divija just started to cry. Daniel looked at her and at that she was dead insisted she had nothing left no courage, hope, or a boyfriend she can trust, Daniel said, "I'm sorry Divija I didn't want them to kill me and my family I'm sorry" "No you should have died for true love to save me from this I'm done I'm breaking up with you. goodbye Daniel, don't even think about calling me or following me home." When Divija got home her parents ran up to her and hugged then asked her, "Where have you been you haven't been at school at all you father said you when off with Daniel but you never came back what happened?" she just shook her head and went up to her room and deleted Daniel's number from her phone and then went to bed. The next day she got up for school and got in her mom's car and her mom drove her to school. Her mom said, "I signed you up for a therapist you need it no arguing alright." "Alright bye mom" When Divija got out of the car she saw Daniel and she went as fast as she could in crutches to avoid him but he caught up with her and tried to talk to her but she just shut him out and walked away. The therapist saw her and took her to his room. The therapist wasn't surprised when he saw her he knew this was more than just dream problems but he never told her. "Ready to begin your first lesson?" "Yes...yes I am" "Ok for our first lesson we wi......" when the therapist started to ask questions for the lesson Divija zoned out and almost fell asleep and the therapist noticed and shook her and then started to talk to himself in a whisper, "You know what how about I let her sleep and see what happens so I can see it first hand." So the therapist sat down grabbed a pencil and small notebook and took notes of what she was doing, so he could study and learn more about her unknown problem. A few minutes latter Divija woke up and asked the therapist, "How long was I out?" "Not that long but I have been taking notes about how you sleep to see if I can find something to help you" "Um... Who are you?" "You know who I am, I'm Steve the therapist." "Uh... Dude get away from me!! I need to get out of here um.. By now." So Divija grabbed her crutches and rushed out the door and had no idea where she was so she just started to go torsed the town andlook for a place to stay. After Divija left Steve called her parents to tell them that she doesn't know him and doesn't remember anything and she is on her way home. Someone was on the sidewalk and asked Divija where she was going and she said in a frightened voice, "um....um I don't know" "here let me take you home you mom must be worried sick" "oh..ok" the lady laughs, "You high school kids are always getting lost" "yeah... um, we are it's our thing" She did a little fake laugh. So the mysterious woman put her hand on Divija's back and pushed her forward to tell her to go in this direction. So Divija started to go forward and the lady said in a happy voice, "Here you go home sweet home" and Divija said, "Yeah...yeah it is I know this place" "Ok....I guess that's a good thing" So Divija got out and walked into the house. When her mom saw her she got up and said, "Oh honey I'm so sorry I'm so sorry." The next day her mom called the school and said she wasn't going to school. Daniel looked all around but he couldn't see Divija. Divija is Daniel's true love so of course, he is going to be worried. So while Divija was at home her mom said for her to go on the couch and rest while she gets a rag with ice cold water on it. Divija asked her mom, "Why did I stay home today mom I'm fine I really don't understand why." Her mom just said, "Shhh hush just get some rest." So Divija fell asleep and when she woke up she said, "Mom what happened I feel like I just came back from the dead, like I just lost...lost everything even my memory" Divija's mom walked over and hugged her and said, "Honey it's ok it's fine baby. I won't let that happen to you." After her mom said that she looks over at the television and saw Esmeralda staring at her with her hair in front of her face with a devilish look on her face. Her mom saw her staring and looked at her then looked where she was looking and saw nothing. Then Mrs.Wood looked at Divija's eyes and saw them turn blood red like she was being possessed by a spirit. After that Divija stood up and walked to the kitchen and she wasn't using her crutches but when she got to the kitchen she turned towards the kitchen knives. Divija grabbed the biggest of which is called a chef's knife, then she clutched it so hard but you could see her face was terrified. Right in front of Mrs.Wood she saw her own child stab herself and fall to the floor and start to bleed out and be covered with blood. Mrs.Wood called the ambulance as fast as she could and they picked her up on a stretcher and put her in the back of the ambulance and closed the door. Daniel was walking up when she saw Divija in the stretcher and ran up to Mrs.Wood and asked, "What happened is everything ok?" But all Mrs.Wood did was, cry. They were rushing Divija to the hospital in an ambulance and the ambulance screeched when they tried to stop. They rushed her into the emergency room to see how bad the wound was to see if she would live. So they put her to sleep and opened her up.
