The Past

~Memory/Dream~
He collapses down next to you lazily wrapping his arms around you with half lidded eyes and a lovestruck smile. You pull yourself into his body feeling the warmth of his form makes you smile, he then sighs happily as he holds you. "Y/N?" You look up to him "Yes Freddy?" He sighs once more but in a more saddened way "You'll always love me right?" You sigh "Freddy you dork you know I'll always love you no matter what, you ask me this almost every night". He chuckles nervously and runs his fingers through his hair "right, sorry i just would hate to lose you sweetheart you mean a lot to me a-and give me purpose you know?". You giggle "Frederick Krueger, I'll always love you and you are not going to lose me you'd have to do something pretty bad for me to leave you" he sighs "i-i know, you've seen all sides of me and yet here you are...." You smile "here i am" you lean upwards and give him a kiss on his cheek causing him to kiss yours back. "How did i get so lucky?" He whispers you smile "because were both equally disturbed and should be locked up" he chuckles "that's one way to put it baby, now how's about another kiss before bed?" You giggle and look up to him and see he's melting and becoming horribly disfigured. Letting out a scream of terror you wake up sweating and tears streaming down your cheeks.

You and Freddy had been together a long time, his friends were your friends and your friends were his one big happy screwed up family of murderers. Charles Lee Ray being your very best friend and Tiffany being Freddy's best friend you didn't meet till Junior year when you four got expelled from your previous high schools. You and Charles made a sacrificing display with the CPR mannequins and fake babies Tiffany and Freddy because they created a chemical explosion in the lab turning the chemistry teacher's hair white as can be and permanently singeing his facial hair off. And you never knew your real parents or you don't remember them you were found in a car seat after an accident but the county police put you into the Hackensack New Jersey Orphanage where you met Charles. He beat up a bully picking on you for being the new girl and told you to stick close to him and that he liked you. You stuck together ever since when you two got expelled Charles had a friend who recently moved to Springwood Ohio and offered his place him and his girlfriend so you both scrounged up enough to catch a greyhound bus out of there. You didn't like Eddie but you had Charles anyways the Orphanage supervisor who took a shine to you two gave you enough for supplies and already got you two enrolled into the Springwood Highschool when she heard of your plans. And you went hopefully you two went and to probably dump itching powder in Cheerleaders uniforms you and Charles definitely noticed Tiffany and Freddy kinda liked them already. You four had the same history, english, and science classes.

But you didn't talk till you ran into Tiffany in the girls bathroom after school searching for a lighter you offered yours never know when you'd need emergency fire crackers. She thanked you and asked where you and your cute friend came from you laughed and said you and Charlie were from New Jersey and got expelled she asked what was so bad you had to move to another state. You told her and she loved it that there was amazing work by what you told her she asked if you wanted to join her and her friend for burgers at the local diner she was good friends with the owners son. You two headed outside to see Charlie and Freddy and Freddy asked her if she invited you and she asked if Freddy invited Charles you went to the Diner and stuck together since that day. You both checked in with the Orphanage supervisor every day so she knew you were okay up until she passed sadly two years after graduation which she attended yours and Charles' she was so proud of you two. You still caused trouble to no end with Charles but you both graduated the four of you later on had enough so you four could move in together the house needed to be fixed up but not terribly.  Charles and Tiffany started going out first and you with Freddy after a year until Charles and Tiff pushed you two together because it was meant to be you definitely said I love you and meant it much like he did too. You hadn't been this happy since you met Charles he was an ass but your best friend and Freddy sadly it didn't last forever Freddy you discovered was killing children in the neighborhood apparently he talked to Charles and Tiff about it they said he could have the basement but there was an abandoned warehouse with a massive boiler room on the outskirts of town and he took that. He asked how you felt about it you didn't have much to say but you swore you wouldn't say a word and you never did one kid happened to get away and found you going to find him nobody somehow nobody questioned why you were in that area of town. Especially since an off duty officer walking with his wife heard the girl screaming you never got another chance to head back there and then that night the love of your life was burned alive. Tiffany heard about it that morning from the news she had to sit you down after your first cup of coffee not a great way to start your day not at all.

After an obscenely long time a lot of crazy shit had happened with Charles and Tiffany you now have a niece and nephew Glen and Glenda and Charles is now in a woman's body. I mean you did die and become best friends with Angelique the Cennobite Queen and Pinhead whom gave you a second chance for helping him with his love life with Female Cennobite she's pretty neat too. You do have a Cennobite form but the powers you have you don't necessarily need to be in that form to use them they knew about you and Freddy also some of what happened to him. Anyways, you jolted up right in bed letting out a scream of terror with tears streaming down your cheeks Tiffany and Charles came running to your bedroom Charles had never seen you so scared but Tiffany has. When she told you what had happened to Freddy when you came home in a panic you passed out they never fully got the story from you till the next day. Tiffany rushed to your side and tried to get you to stop shaking and start breathing normal "honey, you need to calm down" you nodded and slowly curled into a ball not shaking as badly. "Was it a nightmare?" She asks you nodded "Fr-freddy..." You stutter she sighs it wasn't the first nightmare you've had about him either this she of course knew too "oh shit..." Charles breathes as his daughter and son tug on his pant leg. "Is aunt Y/N okay? Or has she finally lost her shit?" Glenda asks Tiffany sighs "mummy is auntie Y/N okay?" Glen asks "she's... she's fine babies go on back to bed" Charles tells their kids answering for Tiffany. "Make sure they go to bed" Tiffany tells Charles he nods and leaves with the kids "Y/N, what the hell happened exactly?" She specifies you sigh "I-i watched him get burned alive right beside me..." You tell her.

She sighs "that one again, do you want me to kick it till you fall asleep?" She offers you laugh lightly "no, I'll be fine I think..." Tiffany nods before leaving but Charles comes in. "Hey sis you okay?" He asks slowly coming back in the room you sigh and nod looking away "was it that nightmare again?" He asks you nod again. "This time Charles, I could smell how burned he was it hurt and made me feel like I was choking it hurt to smell it almost" you say looking up at him with sadness in your eyes. He sighs and goes to sit beside you with an arm around you "you know he loved you, he wouldn't want you feeling this way or grieving like this..." he says giving you a side hug. You sniffle "he'd want me to move on and I've tried dating again you know this" you tell him annoyed he sighs "well what about Ash?" You freeze the only other man you've crushed on was Ash Williams. "Screw off I'm not asking out Ash..." You huff before falling back on your bed "oh come on you're best friends right? You know you can trust him right?" You hesitate but nod. He was there for you after Freddy's death when he was shocked what he did you acted as if you didn't know what he was doing but Ash didn't like seeing you cry he came into the bar you worked at. A couple years before Freddy's death you met he came in and headed for the bar counter you asked what he was after he told you he said he'd seen you around before you told him you had been in the Springwood area since high school. He asked if you were friends with Tiffany and Chucky and you told him yes they've been your best friends for an eternity he asked if you could join him for a drink so he could get to know you since he knew them. You said once you were done with your shift gladly you'd have a drink with him he said he'd be waiting at the pool tables in the back after work you poured yourself some whiskey and joined him. Later some ass accused Ash of stealing his girl so you two got into a bar fight too with the asses friends your manager joined you two he was layed back and had always wanted to get into a bar fight good friend.

"Look I'll get out of the house if that's what you mean I'm really not in the mood for dating" you tell Charles getting tired of explaining this to him and Tiffany. "Dam right you need to get out of the house, how about you come shopping with me and Glen tomorrow? Er... technically today..." Tiffany says leaning against the door frame. You sigh "sure, not the worst idea where too?" You ask "well the kids and I were going to hit the grocery store early but after that how about the mall?" She asks. "Why the mall?" You ask back she sighs "I promised the kids lightsabers so they could duel with Auntie and Chucky" you and chucky laugh "dibs on Glenda since I'm the Empire" you say. "Wait who said i was the Republic?" Chucky asks almost offended "I did" you reply "and since when?" He asks "since now" you reply he sticks his tongue out Tiffany sighs "come on, it's late you two time for bed" "but mooom!" You and Chucky whine she facepalms but is smiling "please..." She says while giggling "can we go to bed?" She asks. Chucky gets up and wraps an arm around Tiff "alright doll, night Y/N get some sleep okay?" You nod "night sweetface" she says before closing your door. You sigh laying back down and turning off the lamp that illuminated your bedroom at all hours you were to afraid to sleep in the dark once the nightmares started and you used to love the dark too. You close your eyes as you're bundled up in your big fluffy blanket taking deep breaths trying to fall asleep but was that really a good idea? You didn't need your family worrying about you like they already were.
