I moved to the beat of the music, while my thoughts melted away. Dancing always brought out the best in me. I could really clear my mind. I finished the dance I was working on, then sat down and drank some water.
"You know, you're pretty good."
I almost broke my neck trying to see who was watching me. Rayan, the boy from my dance class, stood only a few feet across the room.
"But, you're not as good as me."
I scoffed. "Psh, nigga, please. I'd demolish yo ass, then sweep you up on this floor."
"Oh, really? Is that a challenge, Y/N?"
He turned on the music, then started to move. I could admit, the boy had some clean ass moves, but we were dancing dirty. I ran up to him, pushed him out of my way, and started to krump on him. He chuckled and shook his head.
"You really tryna beat me at what I do best?"

We were now pressed up against each other, breathing hard. His forehead touched mine as he leaned down to kiss my lips. As our lips locked together, I realized that he just might've won.
