//Just a little author's note: So hey there. It's been a year since I updated this thing (omg i'm so sorry) and a lot has changed in the series. Kira just left, which sort of fits into my story line perfectly, and Liam is finally with Hayden so that helps. The dread doctors have taken over (not literally, it's just the season's theme so basically) and yeah, a lot. I think throwing Bailey into the story now would be an interesting development so that is why I am choosing to update now. I did some editing in the previous parts, removed plot points and whatnot, so if you need some updating, you might want to revisit the old parts. Thanks, and I hope you enjoy!! :)//

"Scott, your inhaler! Use your inhaler!" Malia screams, pulling and thrashing about, trying to break the shackles around her wrists, pinning her to the wall.

Out of the corner of his eye, though his vision was blurred, Scott could see Liam being thrown against the wall by a chimera. Hayden was helping him, and Lydia was unconscious on the floor. Theo and Stiles were nowhere to be seen. As his chest continued to tighten, feeling as if his lungs were about to collapse, he tunes Malia back in and starts fumbling through his pockets for his inhaler.

Breathing in quickly, Scott inhales deeply, before standing back up. He closes his eyes and tries to concentrate on the sound of his blood pumping through his veins. When his eyes open, the red glow pierces through. He opens his mouth and lets out a deep growling howl. Suddenly it was as if everything was moving in slow motion. He grips the shackles and tears them from the walls, freeing Malia. Stepping in front of Liam, Scott lifts the new chimera into the air by his throat and throws him into the door. Picking Lydia up into his arms, he tells everyone to run and proceeds after them towards the entrance.

With real speed catching up to him, Scott stops to breathe. By now Lydia had woken up and was able to walk on her own. "Where's Stiles?" she asks almost immediately.

"I don't know, but something's wrong. Theo is missing too," Feeling defeated, he slams his fist into a nearby road sign, bending it completely over.

"You couldn't have known that was going to happen, Scott. They had Malia, you had to do something," Lydia says, trying to comfort him. He spins around to face her, only inches away from her face.

"But now my best friend and Theo have been taken! Lydia, I can't keep putting the people closest to me in danger. I can't keep losing people!"

"Looks like someone needs a little saving," a voice says from the trees, walking towards them.

"Who's there?" Lydia asks, looking at Scott.

"It's been a year and you guys have already forgotten about me? Come on, McCall, that's so not your style," Bailey says, emerging from the darkness.

"Bailey!" Scott exclaims, releaved. He rushes into her arms, holding her close to him. "Where the hell have you been?!"

"There will be plenty of time for that later, right now we need to find Stiles," She says to Scott, before hugging a patiently waiting Lydia.

"So, you and Parrish, huh?" she whispers to Lydia, giggling.

"Oh my god, what? B, oh, no, no, no, no, no. No. It's - It's compl - we're friends. No,"

*Meanwhile, where Stiles be kidnapped*

"You actually think you're going to get away with this? I'll tell Scott faster than you could rip out my throat, and believe me, I know, I've seen you do it," Stiles spits, glaring at Theo through the caged door.

"Stiles, I know you're not going to tell Scott because then I could tell him about how you killed a chimera and didn't tell him about it. Or about the fact that you and Lydia know that Parrish is the one taking the bodies but haven't said anything yet. You think that just because you figured me out, things are going to change? You saw me take Corey, so what? I could have been helping him for all you know, you can't be sure of what you saw,"

You've reached the end of published parts.
