*"I Hate how everyone thinks I'm to shy to speak up for myself. They always think it's okay to talk for me. Everyone thinks it's alright to walk all over me. I'm sick of it!"* Those were the last words I said to my mother before I walked out of the house and completely changed my whole life. I walked down the steps of the front of the house down to my car and got in and drove away. I was thinking of never coming back but overruled that thought immediately. I loved my mother dearly but I was tired of being walked on by everyone. Everyone sees me as a sweet, shy girl , but in reality I have a bad attitude.
I stopped the car and grabbed my new iphone. I texted my best friend Ally.
ME:Ally meet me at the mall?
ALLY:Alright be I might be a little late I'm just getting off of work and want to change.
ME:That's fine just meet me at the clothing section of the mall that or the food court.
ALLY: Alright
After I texted her I put the car in neutral and started off towards the mall. I was glad that I left my purse in car because my wallet is in my purse and if I left it inside my house I would have had to go back inside and face my mother and I just really didn't want to do that. When I got to the mall I parked my car and walked to the clothing section.
When Ally arrived 10minutes later I was happy to see her. First things first she came up to me and asked why she needed to come meet me at the mall so I told her about my blow up at my mom and I told her my plan to get people to stop walking all over me.
"Your really going to go through with this?" Ally asked me while I was changing into some new and imporved clothes for my new attitude.
"Yes I am. I don't want people walking all over me anymore and this is how I'm going to do that." I told her.
"But Danelle you know there are other ways of doing that right?"
"Yes I do but this is the way I want to do it." I said determined.I walked out of the changing room then and Ally's face was popping with shock. It was a very funny expression and I started to laugh.
"What's so funny?" She asked surprised.
"Your face was funny."I told her and mimiked her face. She laughed then.
"Ya that was a funny face. But Danelle you look amazing!" She exclaimed.
I looked into the mirror then and didn't reconize myself. The girl that looked back at me was a completely different person. She was a girl every guy would want. I couldn't breathe I was in so much shock at my new self. I wasn't going to be able to turn back now after seeing this. I didn't realize my mouth was open until Ally said " Danelle close your mouth people are looking a you werid." I closed my mouth quickly and said "So what are your thoughts?"
"I think this is going to work." Was all she said back with a huge grin on her face.
"Really? Your not even going to say something negative this time?" I asked her.
"Ya I really have nothing bad to say to this. I think this may work after all." She said back.
"Sweet, that really makes me feel better. I can't wait until Monday morning to see everybody's reactions to my change." I told her with excitment.
"Yeah that'll be something to see." She said.
I went back into the changing room and got back into my original clothes and grabbed the new wadrobe I was about to buy. We walked over to the register and paid. Then we walked to the food court to eat.
