We are so close together, I can feel my cheeks getting red. Hes going to kiss me, the one I long for. Brennen Taylor is going to kiss me. The space between us closes and everything around us seems to melt away. I never want this to end, but he eventually pulls away.

"I love you Colby" Brennen says softly

"I love u Brennen" I reply

"fuck" I mumble  I really thought it was real this time. I turn my alarm off and roll out of bed as im brushing my teeth my phone rings. I slowly walk back to my bed and pick it up. I scream slightly and drop my phone. SHIT IT BRENNEN! We haven't talk since that night.....My phone stops ringing but imminently starts again, its Sam

S-"COLBY WAKE UP!"

I pull the phone away phone my ear and rub it. Its to early for this

C-"I answered didn't I? What do you want??"

S-''Meet us at Tender Greens in 10."

C-''IM READY!!"

We both laugh then say our goodbyes and hang-up. I walk to my closet and get dressed. I wear Xplr merch and black ripped jeans with Black shoes. I grab my phone and walk downstairs.....seeing the one person Ive been dodging 

"Colby we need to talk. You have been dodging me and ignoring my calls and text. The kiss was nothing, we were both drunk, I have a girlfriend, we are bestfriends...I know you meant nothing by that kiss Colbs..." Brennen talks fast, as though I can run off at any moment 

I smile "Yeah of course, Im sorry I just thought that would affect our friendship...bros?"

"Bros!'he says. As our hands touch I feel my heartbeat go up. You couldn't be more wrong Brennen Taylor that kiss meant everything to me, if only it was the same for you...

"Im meeting the boys at Tender Greens, wanna come?" I ask breaking the silence.

"Ha when am I not in the mood for Tender Greens?" Brennen says smiling. With those words we head to my car and go to Tender Greens
