i was woken up by my loud alarm ringing, I groaned and rolled over only to be woken up again by my phone ringing. "hello?" i answered sleepily, "GET UP EMILY!" I winced at the loud noise, "jeez calm down Jessica," Jessica was my best friend of 7 years, but she moved away 2 years ago, my mum then said that we were moving to Yeppoon, QLD. which is where she lived and went to school.
"No you need to get up cause its our first day back at school together!" she said, "Ok ok im getting up, see you in a few" "Ok pick you up at 8" "love you bye" "love you bye." and with that i hung up.
I stretched and climbed out of bed throwing my hair up into a messy bun. (btw this what Emily looks like - i'm using Devyn Lundy for Emily)

I walked downstairs to the kitchen to see a note from my mum saying that she would be out on a business trip for 3 weeks and it was urgent. I placed the note on the fridge and made myself some cereal.
I finished my cereal and rinsed and drained my bowl, i then went up to my room and got dresses for my first day:

I finish putting on my lipstick when i hear my door bell ring, i grab my phone and run downstairs to see my est friend Jessica, I run up to her and hug her. "Omg girl how've you been?" I asked "I've been great, you look stunning!" "oh thank you,' we laugh and I grab my school bag and we leave.
A/N Emilys dad died when she was little and she's an only child with her mum :)
We arrived at school and walked inside only to be met with the principle, she told us where our classes were and that we has most of them together. We walked to first period, English.
*time skip cause I'm lazy*
The bell rang and Jessica and I exited the classroom, "I don't have this next period with you" Jessica frowned, "It's ok ill see you at break, meet me at my class k?" "k bye love you" "bye"
I was walking to class looking down at my phone when I hit into a hard figure, I fall back and my books and pens go everywhere. "oh shit" I hear a deep voice mumble, the figure crouches down next to me and hands me my books, his hands are filled with rings and he's wearing a black hoodie and jeans. "hey thanks" I sheepishly say. "It's ok, you're new arn't you?" he asked me. "yea I'm E-Emily" I stutter, "I'm Colby, nice to meet you" "you too" I continue to pick my stuff when he picks up my timetable and reads my classes, "we have this period together" he says. I finally have to courage to make eye contact and I'm met with the deepest, most gorgeous eyes ever.
I must of been staring cause he giggled causing me to snap back into reality, "umm" i giggle, he stands up with me and we proceed to walk to class
