Suddenly the streets I had grew up around all of my life had looked unfarmiliar. And even more suddenly did i hear approaching cop cars. I took a sharp right into an alleyway and waited until the cars were gone so i could cross the street.

I found myself in the part of our little town full of small shops and a gas staion. I pulled my hood up on my black hoodie and walked into one of the small shops face down. They had lots of food and grocery things. What i came here for was a cheap cell phone of any sort.

I found one and grabbed a minute card to program it and went to check out. Food was the least of my worries at this point, but i did want a water so i grabbed one of those too. I felt so antsy as i waited in line. Any of these people could have heard what happend.

What if my face is on the news? What if i'm wanted for attempting murder? Oh, my gosh.

Finally, it was my turn to pay. Luckilly the cashier looked very tired and unenthusiastic so she barley looked at me. "Your total is $42.30." she said blankly.

"Here." I said and handed her one of the fifties i had in posession.

"$7.70 is your change. Have a nice day, next." she said as i was already rushing towards the door.

I took the phone out of the package and began to program it. Eventually, it was working. I have a phone, i have minutes on it, but who should i call?
