missed you

okay just to clear this out this is now kind of a one shot book cause idk anymore sorry!! but here we gooooo!

Your P.O.V.

Being a third seat was fun and all cause you had a title but then the responsibilities weren't as heavy as a lieutenant or ofcourse a captain.  But that isn't the case when you're the 3rd seat of squad 10 cause ofcourse Rangiku Matsumoto was a slacker.

Her paperwork would usually be joined in with yours which obviously was a struggle. But you take them on anyways cause you want your Captain's stress to be at a minimum.  And well sure he was cute when he's mad but he's better off being more stress free.

So you were doing your paperwork (and Rangiku's) in your Captain's office just you and him while Rangiku was probably passed out somewhere. It was obviously silent cause your Captain was occupied with paperwork as well as you.

Just then Toshiro stood up and said
"Y/N I'm going to our meeting now, will you be okay here?"

"Y-yes taicho!" you chocked out shocked  by his sudden actions.

He then nods "I'll try to look for Matsumoto cause she should at least do her own work"

Nodding back you thank him and tell him to stay safe.

After a few minutes of paperwork Rangiku then stumbles in the office.

"Y/Nchan! How long have you been here?"

"Pretty damn long Rangiku-san! You should really start doing your own paperwork!" You point at the paperwork that should be started on.

"So you've actually been doing paperwork? I gave you all that free time to hang out and maybe do things with the Captain and you do paperwork!"

"Ofcourse! and what do you even mean do things" you say while doing quotation marks with your hands on do things.

"Well duh Y/N! I can see that you like our Captain" she winks.

"And yet you are wrong Rangiku-san! You're not always right you know" you answer back with a smirk. You're great at acting and lying if you will cause you know for a fact that like is an understatement for what you feek towards Toshiro. You love him so much and enjoy time with him while doing paperwork cause you can never really muster enough strength to admit it to him.

Rangiku then gives up, "Fine then! I'm going".

"Hey wait! Your paperwork! Rangiku!" You yell out but she was already gone.

Great paperwork without Toshiro!

Toshiro's P.O.V.

That was a really long meeting compared to others. I wonder how Y/N is holding up i couldn't find Matsumoto but i hope she showed up.

As i open the door to the office i see Y/N has fallen asleep with her paperwork already done and my paperwork half done and the rest on her table. She has really outdone herself. I couldn't help but stare at her cause even when she's sleeping she looks so beautiful.

I wish i could always be with her and take care of her but it isn't that easy and i don't have enough courage to tell her i like her. I can't tell her that I miss her so much even after a short meeting or any moment that keeps us apart. Or even when she's jusg right there cause i just want to hug her and tell her that I love her.

Your P.O.V.

You start to wake up cause you can feel someone watching you and kind of start panicking so you stood up quickly. Which was a bad idea cause it made your head hurt.

"Ow! What the heck?" You curse out and put a hand on your head.

Then you hear your Captain's voice. "Y/N are you okay? What happened?" He said in a worried tone.

"Um I'm okay Captain! Didn't know you were back from the meeting sorry i fell asleep! Could've finished your paperwork for you but i fell asleep I'm so sorry" you start repeatedly saying sorry without noticing and suddenly Toshiro was in front of you and his hands were on both your shoulders.

"It's okay relax Y/N it's my paperwork to worry about not yours" he joked a little.

"Oh okay Captain but i thought that maybe it would-" he cuts you off.

"Like i said it's for me to worry about, okay?" He says reassuringly staring straight at your E/C eyes.

You blushed at the sincerity and contact so you looked down to hide it. You quickly snap out of it and look back at him.

"Okay Captain" you smile.

He nods and smiles back.

"So did Matsumoto pass by?" He questions and steps back from you.

"Yes Captain but only for a little bit then left without even doing her paperwork" you huffed.

"That Matsumoto!" He raises his voice and you could've sworn you saw flame coming out of his nose.

You giggle at the sight.

"Oi what's so funny?" He cools down a little.

"Well its just that you're so cute when you're mad Captain" you continue to laugh then realize what you just said.

oh shit.

You then look up to see your Captain in daze looking at you. "Um that's not what i meant Captain I'm sorry! You didn't hear anything" you ramble on about some dumb stuff trying to cover up what you just said.

"Enough" he says in a mood that you can't quite tell.

You just stand there and look down, you fucked up real good. You bite your lips and fidget with your fingers waiting for your Captain to say something.

But it was taking too long so you say sorry again then he says "Do you really think I'm cute?" He smirks.

What is this? He isn't mad but you were still scared so you kept your head still down and answer. "I do actually think that captain look at you" you say almost like a whisper.

He then goes closer to you and uses his fingers to lift your chin up so he can look at you eye to eye.

"I like you Y/N and i was so scared and didn't have enough courage to tell you that until now cause i was scared of rejection. Heck i think I love you!" He says and moves even closer to you.

You smile and feel teardrops on your cheeks. Then laugh, "I can't believe I'm crying but Captain I love you too and it goes same for me cause i cherish every moment i spend with you even if its just sitting in a chair doing paperwork as long as you're there too i feel so lucky and special"

He then wipes the tears of your face and cups your cheeks then leans in to kiss you. The kiss was passionate and it felt real.

Then he pulls away but keeps his forehead on yours (let's just say he's a little taller here hehe) "You should know that I always think about you even in meetings or wherever and whenever I'm here with you alone i just want to hug and kiss you and tell you that i want to be with you always"

"Well now that you've said it congratulations!" You laugh a little.

He laughs as well then hugs you.
