he waited for her too long;
he was running out
of patience.
when she was standing
in the circle of his arms,
she asked
"what is it that you really want?"
he wanted to say so
many things to her
but the truth was,
in that moment,
his want for her was
out growing
all those beautiful things
he wanted to say.
slowly,
he lifted his right hand
from his side,
slid her hair behind her ear,
moved in and whispered
"everything"
the need in his voice
left her stunned.
