Chapter 1-The Usual

"-----!"

"Sora!"

"DiZ, I'm doing all I can. It's the best I can do,"

"Evidently it's not the best you can do. If it was, Sora would be awake by now,"

"But I-"

"You need to work harder. I'll be taking my leave now,"

DiZ walked out of the room and slammed the door behind him. Leaving me once again, alone.

I scanned my room to look at the pictures on my wall. It was like a enormous colleague that surrounded me, a way to remind myself of all that had happened. The mistakes, the memories and most importantly, my love. No matter what I knew or what anyone thought they knew, my love that I developed was real. It's almost like I could actually feel it.

Of course I could never tell my opinion to anyone. The only person I would even dare telling was, Sora. Sora was the nicest guy I had known. He was the one who showed me that there was at least one kind hearted person in these worlds. I could see why my other half loved him so much.

I quietly put down my notebook and barely tiptoed to my window. It was only way for me to see the outside. It wasn't much but it was all I had. Every time I looked out it was the same. The same gateway. The same forest. Nothing changed in the town. Even the time of day never changed, it was and had always been twilight.

I looked out for a couple of minutes but I knew I couldn't look at it forever. I stepped away from the window and gazed at my walls. A clock stood directly in the middle of the room and it read, 3:27. It was about time to start on my chores.

I opened my white door and made my way down the stairs. I didn't really like stairs. My old home had countless flights of stairs in it. It was almost pleasant until I began to be held captive. It was so vast yet so small. I'm very clumsy though so I was watching my feet closely. Apparently I was focused on them so much that I didn't see the wall in front of me. I saw everything go blurry and everything went black.
