Dean's POV
"CAS!" I screamed.
He kept running.
Panic flooded my thoughts and stopped my throat.
I followed on numb feet.
Was it something I said? My memory searched.
"I'm not gonna leave you."
I cursed myself. Stupid. STUPID.
No.
Now is not the time for hating myself. I needed to find Cas.
I followed the raven haired boy at a safe distance, silently praying and secretly relieved. Those years of football had really payed off. Castiel ran fast. He turned down Villamaria, a street that led towards the center of town. I turned the corner sharply, only to be met by an empty alleyway. I cursed loudly.
"Cas!" I yelled again, tears brimming.
Cas wasn't safe.
I needed to help him.
Something stirred, drawing my attention quickly. The tether of a certain someone's tan trenchcoat.
