Chapter 6: The Dinner

~Koco's POV~

It's been a pretty stressful week. With me coming up with ideas to tell the parents and Levi. I honestly didn't want to tell Levi because,well, he's a bitch when he's angry. I never really thought I would ever have a child because I joined the Survey Corps. Tonight we're going out to dinner with Xinmei's parents to tell them about the baby. I was looking forward to the food; we're going to me and Xinmei's favorite restaurant because her parents didn't care where we went. I've been wait on her to get ready for a couple minutes and figured I might as well do something, so I polished my blades.

She finally came out wearing a long black dress that had light brown stripes towards the bottom with her hair up in a bun holding a black hand bag. Her necklace was the necklace she inherited from her late grandmother, it was a silver circle thick around her neck with dark ruby diamonds, complimenting her sapphire eyes. I held my hand out to her bowing,"Milady." She giggled and took my hand,"You're so corny!"

"You know you love me." I smirked giving her a peck on the cheek.

"Shh it's a secret!" She whispered in my ear as we walk out side and got in the carriage waiting for us with her parents inside.

We got in the carriage and started our silently, awkward ride to the restaurant her mom blurted out,"Are you gaining weight, Honey?"

We froze staring at her and I let Xinmei speak first. "Actually, mom, about that... I'm pr-" She didn't get to finish when we heard a loud strike of lightning and the carriage hit a large bump making us bounce to a halt. I instinctively grabbed Xinny close to me so she didn't fall or get hurt,and looked up. I froze in shock staring before me. Part of the carriage was missing and her parents were gone. Blood was everywhere, soaking our clothes. I felt my jaw drop as I saw a 13m Titan standing before us. I heard Xinmei crying staring at her mother's left hand on the ground.

"X-xinny. XINNY WE NEED TO LEAVE" I said picking her up and running as fast as I could towards the closest alley. She look so shocked and was studdering and crying, I couldn't make out what she was saying. I heard the sound of people screaming and crying. I looked up and saw a figure gliding through the air his dark black hair giving him away immediately. Levi was here to save the day. Again.

He swung by,killing the Titan. (A/N: With swiggity swag x3.) He looked back and noticed me staring at him. He gadgets a blank face as he came over to where we were, "What the fuck are you brats doing here?" I glared at him and spat at him," Obviously trying not to die!". "You guys, please, calm down." Xinmei sniffed, wiping her tears away and glanced at Levi,"I'm guessing you need us to fight?" He nodded. "But-" "No, Kosuke, I can do this. I'll be fine." I sighed and looked a Levi pleadingly, " She can't fight. She's pregnant. " I felt her glare at me but quickly turn back to Levi.

"Is this true?" He asked, rather puzzled. She nodded and he sighed placing his hand to his forehead. "Look, I know you may be one of humanity's most skilled, but I'M afraid you can't be part of the Survey Corps unless you give the child to other parents you'll have to stay with your child until it's atleast at the age of 14."
