Chapter 9: Familiar Faces

Sorry guys about this took long guys. A couple of new beta-readers drop this and my old beta-reader got sick while helping. But it's here and I hope guys enjoy this new chapter.

Karakura Town, Kurosaki Clinic, Morning

Sakura woke up in a blind panic. She threw off her covers and lift herself off the bed, and stands up eyes darting around the room for any sign of danger.

"Crap!" Sakura yelped when she almost fell but she caught herself. She healed her foot a while back but Sakura decided to were the cast to keep up the appearance of being injured.

The morning light was shining into the white room from the window to expose any danger that might have been hidden in the shadows. To her relief there was nothing. No Heartless waiting in the shadows, no killer holding a knife in the quiet room, not even a shout can be heard. Sakura raises an eyebrow and then she felt a dull pain in her head.

'Everything's fine Sakura. Haelth was just waking up and that broke the link.' The spirit told Sakura their mind.

'Spirit?' Sakura called out to the spirit in her mind. At first there was silence but sure enough, the spirit answered back.

'Yep, it's me.' The spirit answered her, 'Just checking up on you before you start to panic. It always after the first link break up everybody panics.'

When did the spirit mention the link again that Sakura begins to bombard them with so many questions about it, 'What happened? You said the link fell apart because one of us is waking up right? Is it always going to be like that every time one of us is waking up? Are Haelth and Edward ok?' Her questions stopped when she felt like something smack the back of her head.

'Calm down!' The spirit growled, Sakura flinched and was quiet, 'The link will fall apart again once one of you woke up but the pain will fade away once you get used to it.' Sakura frowned at that, 'And to answer your last question Haelth and Edward are fine. They just as worried about you as much as you did for them.' Sakura felt a warm feeling in her chest when she heard that, 'I'll keep an eye out. Just keep out trouble until ok?' With that, the spirit was gone from Sakura's mind.

With nothing to do besides wait. Sakura went back to bed and pull back the covers. She hated just sitting around doing nothing but there was nothing she can do. Ha, She starting to sound like Naruto.

Sakura felt a pain in her chest when she remembered Naruto's face and how much she wants to see it again and the rest of her friends and family. Then she narrowed her eyes when she promises, 'I will see him, my friends, and my family, again! That's a ninja promise! Cha! '

Karakura Town, Kurosaki Household, Morning

"So how's was the food?" Yuzu asked Edward who was eating the breakfast she made for him.

"It's good," Edward answered after finish what was left of his food, which earned him a smile from the young girl.

Isshin smacked Edward's back playfully, "That's our Yuzu! She's the best cook anyone can ask for! She really does take after her mom!" Edward only response was painful grunted.

"We can't survive on your cooking old man," Ichigo told his father before stepping into the dining room, "If we did we'd all be dead."

Hysterically Isshin cried out, "Ichigo why would say something like that to your own father!" Isshin got up from his chair and went to tackled his son. But Ichigo saw that attack coming, sidestepped the attack and put his foot out to trip his Isshin. Then Ichigo elbowed his father's back, "Stand down old man!" Ichigo snapped.
