The Vampire Diaries: One Is All I Need

New Orleans

Sorry that I haven't updated this story in months! I'm here to make it up to you :)

You'd think driving to new Orleans would be fun, especially when i picked up a few guys from the next town over, it was not.

"Yo. Caroline i'm hungry" David said as he adjusted his seat belt, humans are away fidgety when they are around vampires.

"Didn't you have McDonald's like 5 hours ago?" was i as bad as this when i was human?

"I could use a bit of food as well" Ian added.

"Oh fine, but you guys are paying this time" I caved in "pull up at the next diner Steve"

David, Steve and Ian were best mates since they were young, they had just finished college and they deiced to go on a road trip to new Orleans, what a coincidence.

We stopped at Penny's diner to load up on carbs, well the boys did anyways, I on the other hand drank my strawberry smoothie, that's what i told them anyways.

"Excuse me" i called out to the cute waitress who served us "Can you tell me about new Orleans?"

Her eye brightened at the name "Oh yes, heaps of people who come though her say the nightlife is amazing, others also said there are secret parties with witch's and where a vampire called Marcel takes you and give you a child" she said in a daze, what the fuck have i gotten myself into, New Orleans was a town for vampires, maybe this was going to be fun after all.

So it took us about three hours of more driving to actually hit New Orleans, I left the guys in a dirty motel and told them this is where we part ways, they didn't seemed to mind, they were more interested in the bar behind me.

I decided to ask more about this place and about the vampires in it and this Marcel guy, the best person to ask was a vampire, so I wonder around until I found one, shouldn't be to hard right?

20 minute later of walking around, I came across a small cafe, I could sense there was something different about this one, so I decided to check it out.

"You cannot be in here" said a lady behind the counter, "Vampires are permitted"

I was shocked she knew about vampires and talked about them so openly, but them I realised she is a witch.

"I just wanted to ask a few questions about Marcel" I explained, her eyes grew dark at the name, all of a sudden pain shot though my head, I knew what was happening, I got out of there as fast as I could..

What was with this place and who was this Marcel guy?

After the encounter with the witch, I felt incredibly weak and needed to eat, well drink, you get what I'm saying.
I decided to give David a call to see what he was up to, he always lived it when I drank his blood.

"Hey David, what are you and the boys up to?" I asked, before he could answer I smelt blood, the sweetest blood I've ever smelt, I needed it now.

I hung up, and followed the scent to a house, which I wasn't sure I could enter, the house was fairly big, and had vines climbing up the sides making it seem so old, like when I used to be human, I shook those memories away I should not be thinking about those! I pushed the door open, and at one foot at a time stepped in, the blood was still fresh in the air, I realised all of a sudden, this was a vampires house, and they were most likely feeding.

Well I'm already this far, might as well find out who this Marcel guy is, I didn't even take a few more steps before I was greeted by a hot vampire, who's eyes screamed power.

"So, I'm guessing your Marcel" I guessed, tho it wasn't a hard one, he had a group of young vampires standing behind him.

"Yes" he confirmed, with his deep sexy voice "and who are you?"

Before I could respond, someone did it for me.

"Caroline Forbes"

I knew that sexy accent from anywhere.
