quinn's pov
no school today, nobody judging me for 2 weeks. i can finally be myself.
i think i'll just hang out with my best friend sam, they're non binary. i call sam and ask them to hang out.
"hey sam wanna hang out?" i ask
"sure i'll go to your place" sam answers
"k see ya soon" i respond and i hang up
i walk up to the couch and throw myself in it. "i look like a mess" i say standing up again and walking to my room. i make my hair less fluffy and and i walk to the bathroom to wash my face. when i'm done i hear the doorbell ringing. i run downstairs and open the door and get attacked by sam hugging me. "heeeey i missed youuuu" they yell. "i missed you too sammy" i giggle. i've had a crush on sam for a while now, but i don't want to ruin our friendship...
we keep hugging for a while and then i realise i didn't put my bra on yet. "sammy i have to get something i'll be right back!" i say awkwardly. i run upstairs and take my shirt off and look for my bra. "fuck where did i put it?!" i mumble at myself. i run to my bathroom to see if i left it there. i see it hanging on a laundry rack and i grab is and put in on "yess i got it!" i mumble to myself again and grab my shirt and run downstairs. "hey i'm back!" i say to say to sam who made themselves comfortable on the couch.
"what took so long?" sam said laughing
"oh nothing.. don't worry about it" i say jokingly
i'm kind of embarrassed because i ran away from sam... i try not to worry about it too much.
"let's play truth or dare!" sam says
"i'm dowwwwn!" i say
"ok i'll start truth or dare?" sam says
"umm... truth!" i say trying to sit comfortably on the couch
"do you have a crush?" sam giggles
"well umm yes i do" i say awkwardly
"sam truth or dare?" i say quickly
"truth, i don't want to move for a dare" they laugh
"same question, do you have a crush" i say curiously
"umm..." they are quiet for a few seconds "yeah..." they say shyly
"who's your crush?" sam says quickly
"w-what..?" i stutter
"come on we're best friends you can tell me" sam says calmly
"ok" i take a deep breath
