Adrian

I wasn't disappointed when Andre's new thing's friends left. To be fair, I knew they didn't like me either. The merman with the bad attitude made that clear with one look on the first day of school three years ago. The nerd had never looked at me directly or said a word to me, and the girl, Roya I think, might smile at me but I knew it wasn't genuine.

Adrian looked away as Andre and Roya started talking at the table. His eyes fell on Medie, who was sitting at a table with her girl group. Medie was everything Adrian liked. She was sweet and innocent, she liked his flirting and she was a pure light raced creature, with a family of Dryads going way back. Her hair was dark green like the leaves in a thick forest, and her skin was dark like the bark on a tree, sometimes it looked like wood too. Adrian looked over at Sofia who was also looking at the young Dryad.

"Suiting your picky taste?" I teased her.

"Too girly and light." She answered while keeping her eyes on Medie.

"I forgot, you like your girls to not be girly"

"I like my girls with at least two brain cells"

"Are you two talking about Munao'?" Roya peaked her head away from Andre and looked towards Medie. I searched my mind for reason this demon girl would be interested in Medie and came up blank.

"Yeah. Do you know her?" Sofia asked, I could sense her hostility in her voice, but I doubted Roya could too. Roya might be dating Andre, but she would never be a part of our group. Not with her heritage.

"Not really, I think she's in my english class" Roya replied faintly while fiddling with the rim of her shirt. Andre's hand was tossed casually around her shoulders, but he wasnt looking at her, but rather at Sofia and I.

"Why don't you go over and talk to her?" Andre asked, voice hoarse. Properly from the smoke we had outside the school earlier, properly from having kissed Roya while me and Sofia looked away.

"I properly need to go now, babe. The boys are waiting for me, we have P.E" Roya said and removed Andre's hand. She didn't like it when we talked about girls.

"See you after school, dear?" Andre asked.

"Yes" She smiled. Looked at me, yellow iris shining out of black eyes. I pulled a face. She pulled a face. Sofia and Andre sighed.

Medie's laugh ringed from the other table. I didn't end up talking to her. I was busy flirting with Rosaline, Andre's younger and calmer sister.
