Y/N POV
I sat down on my phone waiting to be called up for my order. This time I actually gave my name since Sana wasn't here for her shift yet.
When I heard the news had come on, I directed all my attention to the television.
"Police say a middle aged man by the name of Dane Rivers has been murdered. Though, we have no clues of who the murderer is, all condolences go to his closest family and friends. We all hope that he's in a better place now."
"How sad, I can't imagine how hurt his family must feel.." I turned my head to face the entrance seeing Sana standing there with a small frown on her face.
I didn't even notice her come in.
She went into the back room and came back out taking over the other baristas shift. From what I'm assuming the barista probably gave her the orders she didn't finish.
Meaning- "Y/N?" My head shot up when Sana called my name, making me walk towards the counter.
"Yes?" I respond forcing myself make eye contact with her.
"Wow, so you're the one that was acting weird the other day." She said with shock in her voice.
"Sorry.." i responded looking down at my feet.
"No need to apologize, I know people get flustered sometimes." She said with the tone of teasing in her voice.
A smile had spread across my face. "You look pretty." I spoke
"You aren't so bad yourself." She replied giving me the sweetest smile.
She continued to smile happily and handed me my order. "You know..if you feel like it, we could talk more after I finish work."
"Sounds nice, what time?"
"6 o'clock" she said sending me another nice smile.
"I'll look forward to it." I dove in my pocket and paid for my coffee leaving a tip. "See you in a few."I said turning my heel walking out.
Sana's POV
6:03 pm
"I'd actually thought you'd be too busy to come." I spoke, wiping down the last table before turning around to face Y/N.
"Why would you think that?" She gave me a questioning look while leaning against a counter. "Well.. because you look like a busy person who would be doing important things." She laughed under her breath.
"If you mean lounging around in the comfort of my own home plus, not having to do much then yes, I'm a pretty busy girl.""I wish I was you now." I began to put up the chairs on the table, and surprisingly Y/N started to help out.
"Since I'm here I should at least help out, right?" She sent me a friendly smile and I sent one back.
Y/N put up the last few chairs as I started getting myself together. Y/N had took my bag and carried it on her back.
"I'll carry it until we get you home, don't worry about it." With nothing to say about the sudden action, I just nodded my head and she began to walk me home.
