I woke up listening to my little brothers fighting. Probably about their games again, or food. Usually they would be bothering dad about it, but he's probably at work right now, leaving me here with my annoying little brothers."Give it back!" Caleb yells
"I don't have it!" Justin yells back right before I hear a large crash. I slowly pull myself out of bed and make my way downstairs.
"What are you two doing" I say and yawn.
"Justin took my twinkies"
"No. I. Didn't."
"Yes. You. Did!"
"Stop, both of you" why can't I have normal siblings? I wonder while heading back up stairs. "Just eat some cereal or something, you will be fine for one day" I call back at Justin and Caleb, hearing Caleb wine.
I close my door to getting ready for school. I put on my sweatpants and a graphic tee with a sweater, put my hair up In a tight pony tail. I grab my phone and it starts ringing.
Hitting the answer button "hey"
"Hey lex, um..."
"What do you need Luke?"
"Uhh... can you pick me up for school?"
"Did you get grounded again?"
"Maybe" I sigh
Their was a long silence before I broke it "I will try to be there in 20"
"Ok, thanks lex" I hung up.
I grabbed my bag and headed out the door with Caleb and Justin trailing behind me.
Justin and Caleb looked a lot like my dad, they were 15 months apart. If you didn't know that, at first glance at them, you would think they were twins. The shared my dads dark brown hair and ocean blue eyes. Justin was in 8th grade, being the oldest of the two, and Caleb was in 7th grade, being the youngest.
I was told I look like my mom, but I didn't care. She died after I was born. I never knew her and I tried to not think about it to much. It was hard growing up without a mom. My dad said I had her hazel eyes and black hair. I try not to think about it that much, that we look alike.
I dropped Justin and Caleb off at the middle school and I parked at the high school, we go to West Point, a small school in Canada.
I got out of my car and got tackled by my two best friends, Luke and Tiffany, tiff for short. We were friends since I moved here from New York in 4th grade. Tiff was the only girl I could stand to be friends with. She wasn't too girly, but she had her moments.. and Luke was not a sex addict like most guys here. Although he still talks.
I pushed myself off the ground. "What was that for?!"
Tiff smiled so big it scared me. "N-nothing"
"Mhmm" I grumbled. "Ok, so what is it?" I said whipping the dirt off my sweats.
"Ok, so" Luke started then tiff punched him in the shoulder. "Oww, What was that for?!"
"I'm telling her you egghead" I laughed.
"Telling me what?"
"That" she took a deep breath "we got a new student!" She squealed and luke and I covered our ears.
"Um ok." I started walking away annoyed.
"Hey Alex!" Was screamed behind me. I turned on my heals and saw Ty waving at me, so I waved back, ignoring my best friends also annoyed faces. I turned back around and kept walking to my first class, calculus, with mr. Keith.
