"hey, what are we supposed to do here again?" y/n asked looking up to her best friend, jeongwoo

the two are currently at the corner of the cafeteria, sitting at the stairs which was gonna lead you to the second floor of the cafeteria. they had been in this area for twenty minutes or so which made the girl grow impatient.

the taller guy haven't mentioned anything why they were staying at the corner of the cafeteria except for the fact that they're waiting for a specific person.

"we're waiting for someone, dumb ass" she clicked her tounge upon hearing her best friend calling her names; dumb ass.

"i ain't dumb, you dinwit" y/n crossed her arms as her back was now also facing jeongwoo's.

he turned to look at the girl's back "watch you're language young lady, i'm older than you" he exclaimed as a smile krept on his face upon seeing the girl being irritated and impatient

"and i'm also taller than you." he added with a smirk.

y/n turned and faced the tall guy with her cheeks puffed "how many times do i have tell you that i'm not short, you're just tall!"

jeongwoo playfully rolled his eyes "ye, ye, whate- where are you going?" he asked as he held her wrist when she was about to walk away.

"i'm heading out."

"why is it?"

y/n was growing real impatient, she doesn't want to waste her precious time here quarrelling for such silly reasons. she loves her best friend but she just can't help getting all furious at him. she wasn't really like this. is she on her period or something?

no, definitely not. she's pretty hyper and/or enthusiastic when she's on her period. jeongwoo has already questioned her about that; why she was being all hyper and smiley when she's on her time of the month unlike the others who gets really moody. but y/n doesn't also know why.

"this is just wasting my time. the school's fair only lasts for two days and today is the last. i'd rather go roaming around the campus or maybe just stay at my grade level's booth than quarrel with you" she said with her irratated look

the tall guy wanted to giggle at the sight of his best friend looking like a kid who's being not allowed to do anything, but no. he didn't wanted her to choke him.

he smiled sweetly at her as he started to gently pull her back to his side "oh come on y/n, i was just joking around" he placed her back to where she was seated before, which was on the stairs.

she rolled her eyes arms crossed in front onmf her chest "can't you just tell me why we're waiting for that guy? i don't even think i know that guy or maybe those guys"

to be honest, he too was growing impatient upon waiting for those dorks. he also wanted to already leave the area and roam around the campus with his beloved best friends, including y/n. but he didn't wanted to ruin his hyungs' plan for yedam to confess to the younger.
