(A long overdue Funtime Foxy x Reader, as was promised. ♡)

Fix that freak? What are they, crazy?!

The last thing you wanted to do was be up close and personal with Funtime Freddy. You had heard horror stories about this place, even before you had agreed to the job. But you needed the money, desperately so.

Despite that, that bear weirds me out. He's not fully... sane.

It was an understatement, wasn't it? You knew what had happened with the last person's encounter with that maniac, how could you not? And now you had to fix him? Who would even rent it out?

Gripping the flash beacon, you still felt ill-equipped to deal with whatever horrors Funtime Auditorium held. If the bear was that bad, how terrifying was the fox?

No, no, come on, get your shit together! It won't be that bad! Just get through this place, fix the stupid bear, then go home! Problem solved!

... even if I'm on contract and I have to come back again.

You winced before climbing into the vent and exiting into the Auditorium. It was pitch black. Damn, at least Ballora's Gallery had some sort of lighting! But this was even worse, as not only was it dark, it was eerily silent. Swallowing hard, your hands shook as you slowly made your way across the room.

Shifting sounds made you slam your hand on the beacon, revealing... nothing. So then what the fuck was all that noise? It was soft, but not completely lost, even with the pounding in your ears. Your head spun; you couldn't afford to faint now.

More shifting sounds, these ones closer. Another flash of light showed still nothing, and you began to panic in silence. Funtime Foxy had to be the one moving in the darkness, right? Was he scared of the beacon, or worse... was it attracting him?

With a soft hiss of air you took a few more steps forward, stopping when you heard the fox moving again. It was close... far too close for your liking. The beacon shook in your hands, and you felt the urge to throw the damned thing at the next sound you heard.

Which was precisely what you did. It clattered to the floor, echoing in the darkness. You groaned, but quietly; God damn it all!! You could hardly tell which direction you had thrown it!

Hands, tipped with claws, dug themselves into your upper arms from behind. Before you could scream, shout, or say anything, a harsh whisper came to your ear. "Hush. He'll hear you."

Who the fuck?!

"Come with me." As if you had a fucking choice. You were dragged, presumably off to the side. If your sense of direction wasn't entirely wrong, you were being led to the Funtime Auditorium stage. Sure enough, the lights there were minimal, but enough to let you avoid tripping as you were pulled up the steps. You could just barely make out the silhouette, the figure who had grabbed you. It was thin, with slender shoulders, the gender indeterminate in the dim light.

Roughly, they shoved you backstage and against the wall behind it.

No no no, no, oh God no, not like this! Not like this!!

One hand covered your mouth, and the figure crept close. Too close. "Do you hear him? Freddy? He's looking for you."

Sure enough, somewhere in the Auditorium, there was laughter. Not the happy kind; the kind that meant trouble. Insanity. That damned bear!
