Doble date?

In the afternoon we all decide to go to the park James, Taylor and Andrew are playing catching with a football and laughing about God knows what. I check my phone and open the text that Ethan send me in literature class.

-Ethan: "I prefer her bothering him than me, btw you look beautiful" wooh quite the gentleman

I feel someone looking at me and that's where I hear him "who are you texting bella" I rise my eyes to see Ethan and Emma sitting down in front of me, our eyes connect green to gray I raise my eyebrows because the way he was smirking at me it was like he knew I was looking at our chat. America and Emma looking at us and I break our staring contest, my cousins come back with Adam and sit with us, I feel my phone buzz with 2 notifications one is from Zack and the other one is from Ethan.

-Zack: "Hey sexy I just finish with the races in here I will be back home in the next 72 hrs. "     Zack left two weeks ago to do some business in a town far from here and since then we have barely spoke to one another not that i care too much because we most of the time are in disagreement but he is still my boyfriend.                                                                                                  -Me: "Hoping to see you soon, text me more often can you?" I open my other notification to see Ethan saying hello. I look up to find him talking to Andrew and Emma who are sitting next to one another in the grass.   

-Me: "Why are you texting me if you are in front of me." He look down at his phone and start typing.

-Ethan: "I am texting you because we are weird just like that and you text me back. Do you know that my cousin and yours have a crush on each other?"

-Me: "Who? Adam and Andrew? COUPLE GOALS!" he start laughing uncontrollably and he catch all our attention. Andrew is the first one to react "Bro do you good?" he noods "yes I am good, I just found something really funny" He move his phone next to Adam who was sitting next to him and Adam read the msj he roll his eyes and look at me. "Wao Isabella I love you but I hate you just so you know" I blow him a kiss and he look between Ethan and me. "So what is going on between you too uhm?"

"Nothing.." I say right away "What? .... We can't laugh and make jokes now?" I ask but deep down I know the real meaning of his question, he give me a weird look but he let it slide.
Me: "if you are asking for Andrew and Emma the answer is yes, I know those two like each other from a long time but I guess it's complicated."

-Ethan: "Yes but I don't see the complication. Emma likes him and he is a good person even though he have his past. Let's help them get together because I dont think they will make that on their own, Emma is a little proud."

-Me: "I didn't know you and Andrew were in good terms again. you're trying to play his cupid."  After my uncles death we thought that Ethan was going to come back because of how close he was with Andrew before he left to England but we were all wrong he never show up until now and that's something that Andrew does not forgive him.

-Ethan: "He might not fully forgive me yet but he is like a brother to me and I know how much Emma likes him, I just think that if you have the person that can be the love of your life in front of you why wait? why lose time when you dont know what can happen. Things might not be like before but I love Emma as much as Andrew love you and I just want to see her happy, he is a great guy." I reread the msj like 3 times before I could process all the thing this guy is saying, like how cute can he get. I never thought of him as the cupid type but he cares for his cousin and that's nice, I would do the same for Andrew but those two are a difficult pair. As I was about to respond to Ethan my phone is snap  out of my hands.

"What the fuck" I throw my hands back to whoever took my phone, Andrew catch my hand before this it him in the chest. "Slow there little monster it is me, I just wanted to know If you were talking with that dick you call boyfriend, I told you he is up to not good but you never understand." I see that Ethan jaw get tie as he hear the mention Zack, but I dont pay too much attention because as Andrew see who I was texting with his eyes look surprise as he look between Ethan and I. I try to get my phone back but let's face it I'm a 5'4 girl who got nothing infront of Andrew's 6 feet ass, I roll my eyes as he look through my chat. He look at Ethan and noode "You are right about what you are saying and maybe I judge you too soon without knowing what happened, but I like how you are thinking. " Andrew give me my phone and give Ethan a weird hand shake. "Ethan you can be as good as you want but just a heads up you are not going out with my baby sister, I am struggling to get Zack out of the picture and I dont need another one okay mate? " I love my brother but when he put that overprotective front it piss me off. "James you know I'm not 12 and at his point your opinion is not valid right?" He roll his eyes at my comment knowing that I always do this.  "I mean, we have know each other for long but if James that knows me have that opinion I dont even want to think what's your father opinion"  ah my dad, Ethan does not have any idea about my poor relationship with my dad. He does not have the morals to tell me anything about my relationship he lose that right when he decided to do the wrong things.
