The First Encounter

Relationships can be crazy. I don't mean the causal "oh this is crazy" like a girl would be like. I have been with many girls. Like EVERY type of girl. Basically every type of girl you can think of in existence. The psycho one, the shy one, the clingy one, the obsessive one, the popular one, the not so likable one and the average childhood one. I recently broke up with my psycho girlfriend because of various reasons like "why didn't you text me back straight away" and "Who's that girl from 3 years ago", so before going to a different school, I cut her off for good so I could start a new page in my life and move on properly. The first day of my new school arrived. It started off just like any other first day. Meet at a place then listen to the principal talk for a bit about "this is a new chapter in your life" and "you need to really study hard/knuckle down". Those speeches never made sense to me and they never will. Then the year group that I was in moved to another area and sat down. We then listened to our year manager tell us exactly the same thing that the principal said but in a more 'aggressive' manner. They then sorted us into our house groups. Dragon, lion, snake and phoenix. I was left in no house group since I moved school so I had to ask the 'scary' year manager where I was supposed to go. He literally dragged me around the school to every house group out of my year group. Eventually I found the room I was supposed to go in. I entered that room with little to no confidence. Then the moment came, the one that would change my life for the better. Walking into that room, I was sacred shitless. As I sat down shaking in my shoes, I heard a voice. Not a normal voice but also not a angelic voice. I looked towards the beauty and before my eyes, I knew it had to be non human. But she had to be. As she opened her mouth I was speechless. "Hi my names Ruby, what's yours?"
