she twisted her hair into a bun, pinning up the loose hairs that fell to her side. she scrunched her face as she groaned, pulling her hair down again. her silky blue dress hung loosely around her waist. she buckled her shoes before standing in the mirror, scanning every little detail about her dress."it's just a business party, lan. don't take it so seriously. let loose and have some fun."
"i can't let loose, mina, i have to show these people how serious i am about this business." she retorted frustratingly, her eyes rolling to the back of her head. "i've never even dressed up before, and yet here i am, in a blue dress that yoongi bought me two months ago."
mina plopped on lan's bed. "you guys broke up 2 weeks ago. i think this is the perfect time to show him you're over him. just go to the party, have fun and drink!" lan frowned.
"fine!"

she entered the crowded room, hanging her head low. the blue and green lights flashed around the sweating bodies, spotting the ones making out. the music blared throughout the building. lan glanced upon the groups of people, searching for namjoon and taehyung.
finally, her eyes caught what looked to be taehyung, jimin and namjoon seated at the bar.
of course.
she slowly made her way over, pushing through the bodies. she stumbled forward, colliding into seokjin. "lan?" lan smiled, waving. "you look gorgeous." he mumbled before walking away.
"hey." she murmured as she sat at the bar, looking at all of the combinations of drinks. "can i have one small glass of soju please?" she questioned quietly.
namjoon rested his elbow on the counter, staring at the girl, watching her when she would wonder her eyes around the many crowds. he smiled to himself. "why'd you get all dressed up? this is just a business party."
"shut up."
"why?"
"i didn't ask you to talk to me."
"by the way," he paused, leaning closer to her ear. "you look beautiful in that dress. blue really fits your eyes."
