New School

  Kat POV

I heard a soft knock at my door and in entered my mom.

“Hey honey its dinner time so come on down” Mom said walking out my door.

I followed behind her sighing wishing I could get out of it.

I sat down next to Nina at the table.

A few minutes later Fabian walked into the room and to my liking he sat next to me.

The table was filled with small talk.

I was so happy when I could finally go back up in my room.

As I was watching TV I heard another knock at my door and my mom walked in with a smug grin. “Mom what’s with the grin?” I asked a little creep out. “I found out you don’t have to wear a uniform to your new private school” She said cheery.

 “Ok” I said going back to watching TV. “Honey I know you hate me for just picking up and moving and not telling you until today but I’m sorry, I love you just try not to hate me, please” Mom said whispering the last part. I sighed and said “Mom I love you I just wished you didn’t cheat on dad whatever you do affects me and daddy but you didn’t think about that when you were having an affair and all of suddenly got married in Las Vegas, and just moved like it wasn’t going to hurt me at all” I said the last part softly. “Listen Kat I wasn’t in love with your dad when we got married, when we got married I was pregnant with you, my parents forced me to marry him since I was sixteen” She said closing my bedroom door. “So what you’re basically saying you never grown to love dad?” I asked her turning the TV to mute. “I love your dad like a best friend or brother I never meant to hurt him like I did” She said. “Mom when you cheated on dad you made him look a fool and disrespected him, you brought Ian around me and you had an affair with him in his house, in his bed, that’s just low and disgusting” I stated fiddling with my hands. She sighed heavily and said “Hon I know that was wrong but I didn’t realize it at the time I just hope you can forgive me” She said standing up and kissed my forehead before walking out the door.

I let out a frustrated sigh and change into my hello kitty pajamas.

I turned off my TV and turned off the lights.

I snuggled in my new and comfy bed and fell asleep instantly.

“Kat” I heard a voice say shaking me awake. I forced my eyes open to see Nina standing above still in her pajamas and her hair all over the place. “Time to get up and get ready for school” She said still rather sleepily.

I sat up and Nina left my room.

I rubbed some sleep out of my eyes and walked into my bathroom. I grimaced at what I saw. My hair was like a bees nest, I had eye crust in my eye, my lips were alittle dry, and I had dry drool on my cheek and arm.

I took my brush and started brush my hair.

I climbed into the shower and started scrub my body with my Victoria Secret body wash.

I climbed out of the shower and wrapped a towel tight around myself and I quickly washed my face and brushed my teeth.

I went into my closet and I picked out a cute beige tank, gray skinnies, white wedge heels with tiny black polka dots on them, and I put on gray suspenders. The outfit was super cute.

I straightened my hair my hair.

I grabbed my purse-bag whatever you want to call it.

I walked downstairs to see I beat Nina and Fabian down here.
