I Miss You (NejiTen)

Chapter 03

Sakura's POV

Tsunade and I finish treating TenTen. She still hasn't woken up yet.

We exit the room and Gai runs up to us.

"So how is TenTen? Will she be alright?"

"Yes. She will be fine. We just need to keep an eye on her for while." Tsunade answers.

"What happened to her anyways?" Kakashi says as he walks up to us.

"It turns out that she wasn't eating or drinking water. The last time she ate was about three days ago, and she last drank about two days ago. Her body wasn't getting the nutritions it needed, so to preserve energy, her body went to sleep, or in terms you can understand, she fell unconscious." Tsunade says.

"But she'll be alright?"

"Yes. She will be fine. But once she wakes up, we're going to keep her here for a couple of days." I say.

"Okay."

Sasuke's POV

We were ordered to stay here and gather information that could tell us what she could've been doing laying on the floor. Lee and I start look in her small living room and kitchen when we hear Ino fall.

"Ah!" we hear her scream and when we look over at her, she's laying in the same spot TenTen was. She all of a sudden gets a look of horror and screams again. "Ah!" she quickly sits up, holding the left side of her face.

"What Ino?" Lee asks. She just points to a small puddle.

"What is that?" she asks.

"I do not know." Lee states.

"Wait. Wasn't that where her head was?" I ask.

"Yeah, you're right. It was." Ino says.

"Could they be tears?" I ask.

"Maybe. But it's such a big puddle for tears." Ino says.

"Lee, go get Sakura and bring her here. Maybe she can tell." I tell him. He leaves with a nod.

Lee returns with Sakura. She looks down at it.

"I think they are tears. Cause when we were treating her, her eyes were red and puffy, and there were tears streaks running down her face."

"Sad." Ino says.

"Sakura, how is TenTen?" Lee asks.

"Oh, she's doing fine. She'll be alright, but we're keeping her in the hospital for a while."

"Oh, okay. I must go now." Lee doesn't wait for an answer. I get a strange feeling that he's hiding something, so I follow him.

I follow him into the forest and stop when he does. He calls out for someone. My eyes go wide when I see who steps out of the bushes.

TenTen's POV

"Neji?" I look around. I'm submerged in complete darkness. Then, I see a light. I move closer to it. A see a familiar figure laying down in the grass. "Neji!" I yell as I get closer. The closer I got, the more it changed.

By the time I got there, it changed to him now in a coffin.

I break out in tears. "Neji! No!"

I joint up screaming. "Neji!" I feel tears start streaming down my face when I realize that it was just a dream. Then, I start bawling.

The door flies open and Sakura rushes in followed by Gai.

"TenTen, you're awake? Are you alright?" she asks as she walks over to me.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I start to get out of bed, but am stopped by Sakura and Gai.

"TenTen, you can't get out of bed yet! You're health is low and you're very weak right now." Sakura says.

"But I have to visit Neji, it's his birthday." I say sadly.

"TenTen, I'm sorry, but you can't leave."

"When Lee and I go, we'll say something for you." Gai says.

I know I have to stay here, but I can't. I have to see Neji. I just have to. And I will.

"Alright fine." I lie to them.

After they talk to me and Sakura does some tests, they final leave. It's now 5:00. I decide to wait a little longer.

After about 15 minutes, I get out of the bed and change into my clothes. I lock the door and push a chair up under the handle. Then, I open the window and jump out.
