In Hotel - 5:00pm
Brian...
Once Brian was out of the shower and dressed in his concert attire he made his way out of the bathroom.
"Are you decent?" Brian announced to Roger.
"Uh-huh."
Brian made his way out, Roger was also dressed in his concert attire. A black button-up and a white tie, black pants, and white wristbands. He was almost in the exact opposite colors of Brian who was wearing a white button up (slightly unbuttoned at the top), white pants, and a black choker. Roger was grinning while staring at Roger.
"Don't give me that look." Brian joked, stepping closer to Roger to adjust his tie. "You look stunning Roger."
"You look stunning too, love." Brian blushed lightly at the pet name.
"Should we go see if the other two are ready?" Brian asked he could only assume the two others were ready. Hopefully.
Roger nodded and they both grabbed their things and exited the room, walking toward the lobby. Roger walked very close next to Brian, an arm sneaking around Brians' waist and even a hand sneaking into Brian's back pocket.
He sharply inhaled, "You are just being a cheeky little shit today. Aren't you?" Brian mumbled under his breath.
"Yep, I gotta keep you on your toes somehow."
Brian rolled his eyes at the comment playfully. As they turned the corner into the lobby Deaky and Freddie were signing a few quick autographs. Deaky was the first notice the both of them, he quickly smirked when he saw where Roger had his hand.
"Hello, lovebirds." Deaky joked.
"Darlings, will you give these lovely people an autograph before we head to the venue?" Freddie asked. Brian nodded walking over and quickly writing his signature, making short talk with the lovely fans. Once the fans were satisfied they left allowing the boys a moment together.
"I had the tour bus parked out back. The press stormed the outside of the hotel, it will be easier that way." Deaky mentioned. Everything from early in the day came back to Brian and the sudden flood of anxiety came back to him.
"Right," he paused, "best get going then."
Brian grabbed Rogers hand, this was the first time Brian had ever been truly nervous about a concert. He tried his best not to think about it as they head out back and pile unto the tour bus.
All four the boys sat next to one another in the back. Freddie and Deaky to Brian's left and Roger on his right. As soon as they sat down Roger laid his head on Brian's shoulder and closed his eyes.
"Roger, you can't fall asleep yet," Brian whispered. He hooked his fingers under Rogers' chin, lifting him off his shoulder. Roger whined as Brian moved him away, he still laid against him twirling a lock of hair. Brian kissed the top of his head and enjoyed the warmth against his side. It slightly helped his nerves but not enough to calm him down.
After a few minutes later they were rolling up by the stage door entrance. Brian stood, turning to look at Roger. They made their way out together, surprisingly no press or fans flashing cameras in their face. Brian quickly made his way toward the dressing room to find if management had put Red Special there yet. Luckily they had, he smiled as he took out his guitar. He took his time tuning and cleaning up his guitar.
After cleaning his guitar he thought best to go find the rest of the bandmates. Checking the rest of the dressing room was his first idea. Freddie was doing his vocal warm-ups and Deaky was unpacking his mini bar, his bass laying next to him. Roger, however, was not in his dressing room, most likely tuning his kit. Brian quickly walked to the stage, the closer he got the more he could hear the loud beats of the famous kit. He stepped on stage, staying close to the back as he watched Roger warm himself out. He smiled, enjoying the face of bliss on Roger's face. He knew tonight's dynamics were going to be different. Sure Deaky and Freddie won't be any different but Roger and Brian performing on stage together since the confession. He watched as Roger attempted to flip his drumstick into the air but failed to catch it.
