Talon's the name and being new to the city is the game - and by city I mean New York City. The big Apple, the city that never sleeps (but neither do I).

Talon wants to make it in New York like, every other young 21 year old, fresh out of university.
Talon's football superstar of a brother could have went pro. Talon's parents could have stayed together. And Talon could have stayed in small town Oregon, continuing to rent her crap apartment in Portland right near the university, while working at the fine arts museum and pursuing her master's degree.
But they didn't. And she didn't either.
Talon's big city adventure is a little less overwhelming after she meets Harry and the band of misfits that occupy Loft 05A in their building. She learns that not fitting in can be better than fitting into spaces or places that she can't.

Insert Harry - A very carefree soul who doesn't seem to want to spend much time thinking or talking about the past. An obvious goofball who has no wish to force Talon to be anything that she isn't. Harry isn't one to be serious or label things - and Talon thinks that's just what she needs in her life.
Harry is a lanky, love-enthusiast that wears too many oversized shirts and after an unusual meeting, he takes Talon's art class (well tries) "just because". But Harry has sweet curls the color of mahogany that run down his neck and a loud giggle, so Talon lets him stay.
Lanky 6 foot tall Harry loves yoga and talking in long sentences that almost never come to a point, but finds a way to charm Talon. He introduces her (persistently bugs her until she says she will hang out) to his Loftmates. The four guys: Mitch, Jude, Schafer, and Kai inhabit the space with Harry.
The inseparable gang of misfits takes Talon in (against her better judgement, maybe) to brave the city life together. The five of them (plus Talon) live each day as an adventure.
Talon finds a home with the boys in Loft 05A and learns the art of just being you.
