It was a few months later. Me and Jonathan had gotten closer than ever. It felt good to actually be cared about for once. He told me he'd never leave me as long we both shall live. Since we're both going to be twenty next year, I was kind of hoping for a ring. But I didn't let that get to my head. I knew we were both still young and Jonathan didn't seem like the marrying-type. But hey, a girl can dream.
