I sat there waiting for the worst...but nothing came. I look up to see my older brother Soda take the hit for me. We all sat there in silence. I couldn't remember much of that day but it didn't end well for soda...

~A week later~

"Hey little bro, it's time to get up." I woke up to the sound of sodas voice and him nudging me. I got up slowly and started to prepare for school.(don't judge me) a weird thing I do is I always carry a stuffed bear called fluffy. When ever I was scared I would snuggle up with him, I take him to school but other wolves there make fun of me but I try to ignore them. a few minutes later my siblings and I walked out of the den and started to make our way towards our school. My brother Kyle and my sister cat was still in high school while my brother soda was in college. Me..I was in elementary... Kyle and cat went on there own while my brother soda walked me to my school. "Hey balto."

"Yeah?" I asked.

"I wanna show you something I didn't show anyone else. Can you keep a secret?" He asked.

I was excited to see what he was gonna show me. " of course show me, pls!" My brother took something out from under his bandana. He put a piece of paper down on the ground. I looked down to see a pice of paper that said in bold. "One ticket Cruise to Puerto Rico" I looked at him puzzled. He laughed at my face and explained it to me.

"You know how dad dose bad things, correct?" I nodded at his question. "Well, mom got me, you, Kyle, and cat tickets to go to Puerto Rico."

"I have two questions soda." I said to him

"What is it?"

"Well number one, where is Puerto Rico?" I asked

"Well..it's like east from here and it's like a small island away from Mexico."

"Okay..WAIT what about mom! There's only four ticket mom has to have one!" I yelled panicked.

Soda sighed and looked down. "Mom couldn't get a ticket for herself and mom wanted us to to live a better life, without dad." He said and at the end of his sentence he go kinda angry witch was very rare.

"But we can't just LEAVE HER WITH THAT MONSTER!" I yelled I was furious.

"I KNOW! I know... I don't want to leave her too, I even had an argument about it with her earlier. She told me that nothings gonna change her mind and that we are going to Puerto Rico to find her best friend Antonio." Soda said starting off angry but lowering his voice into a whisper. He picked up the paper and we both started to walk to school. My mind was racing. Me without mom? I loved mom and soda more than anything. I don't want to leave her. She has been with me since day one. My heart was breaking and I started to get a headache. I also started to cry

I guest soda noticed cause he stopped in his tracks, turned around and licked my tears away and telling me it's gonna be okay.

We finally arrived at school and I had fluffy in my mouth. My brother soda said bye while I walked into the school. I walked into the school to see this girl I liked. Her name was Ashley and she was a fully white wolf with honey colored eyes. The worst this about her is she was related to this other white wolf named Steve. Steve was a bully...

~at the end of school~

I was waiting outside for one of my siblings to walk home with me.

"Hey balto!" Someone yelled

I turn to see Steve running toward me. "What do you want Steve?" I questioned.

"You know what I want?.....I want you stupid teddy bear!" He said while snatching fluffy away from me

"HEY give it back!" I yelled at him trying to snatch it back but kept blocking every time I tried.

"What are you gonna do? You gonna cry you baby!" He said teasingly to me. I went to snatch it again and I grabbed on fluffys arm while he had his leg. We both pulled on both ends to get the teddy bear. While all of this was happing a group of other pups gathered around to observe the scene...including Ashley.

We kept pulling and pulling and pulling until I fell back. I had his arm still in my mouth so I won

I thought wrong.

I look up to see Steve having fluffys leg in his mouth while the rest of fluffy was on the ground with fluff everywhere. I started to tear up. Fluffy was gone.

Steve started to laugh. "Look everyone it's balto the cry baby about to bawl his eyes out over fluff and leather. The crowed burst into laughter. I looked to my left to see Ashley even giggling to his statement. I looked back at Steve and then something broke in me. It was like I changed personalities. I lunged forward and tackled Steve. I started to fight Him. Even though he was older I had the upper had Steve was a kinda fat wolf. We kept on fighting until a pair of teeth grabbed me from behind my neck and ran inside(it was one of the teacher wolves)

~1 hour later~

I was sitting on a rock waiting on someone to pick me up. I had fluffys arm hanging out of my mouth. A small teardrop went down my face thinking about fluffy. I look to my right to see the other pieces still on the floor. I look up as I hear running towards me. It's Kyle.

"What's wrong." He asked with no expression.

I pointed towards all of the fluff and body parts. He looked at it and then back at me. "Pick up the fluff and body part and follow me. I'm gonna show you someplace special."He said while carrying some of the fluff and walking into a direction. I got up, wiped a tear away, grabbed the rest of the fluff and body parts and started to walk with Kyle.
