There it goes, my second Chidori strike. The moment I'm about to strike, everything just slows down. Almost immediately, I black out.
"Well, it seems that Sasuke's limit would be two Chidori strikes."
I hear a voice say, that I'm almost sure is Kakashi sensei. As my eyes slowly open, and recover from the fall I had just experienced.
A familiar, annoying, pink haired girl squeezes the life out of me in a tight embrace. I try to break free, which seemed impossible until another familiar face plays in. Naruto. He almost immediatly, as much as I hate to admit it, came to my rescue... He pushes Sakura away, not rudely, but with enough force to get her away from me. I take in a couple of breaths before I hear the Blondie start talking.
"Hey Sasuke! Are you alright?! You took a pretty mean nap. Not to mention the way you collapsed. Kakashi Sensei said you'd hit your limit for today and asked if I'd help you recover for the day-"
The rest was just blurred out, thanks to all my thoughts rushing through my head, but soon enough. I'm shaken up in order to get listening again.
"Alright, Fine."
I said, not really aware of what I was saying, but it just blurted out in a sense that I made it clear that I just wanted Naruto to shut up now that I was actually paying attention to every word that came out of his clueless mouth.
"Really?! Alright then, See Ya' tommorow Sasuke!" Naruto said as he ran off home.
I'm pretty sure he forgot he was suppost to help me recover, but whatever I agreed to must have been some sort of ridiculous thing like eating ramen with him or something. I honestly don't know how he eats that everyday without getting sick of it. I don't know if I should be impressed, or grossed out. Either way, I shrugged and proceeded with the day. Until I noticed it wasn't exactly 'day'. It was about eight o'clock, since it was pretty dark. How long had I been out?...
I continued on my way home, slightly limping, but I made it. I made my way to my bedroom as I closed the door behind me. Soon entering my room I did the same, and laid there for a good thirty minutes. Staring at the ceiling. I took off my shoes and turned off the lights, pulling the covers over myself. Not caring how messed up my clothes was. I'd just shower in the morning before training. I shut my eyes, and drifted off into a deep slumber.
I woke up, gazing at the bright rays of sunshine seeping through my curtains. I yawned, feeling much better than last night. I got up and headed for the shower, once out, I changed and prepared for today's training. I prepared some tea, nothing more. I wasn't one very fond of the idea 'breakfast'. Once I had finished my cup of tea I quickly headed towards my room and grabbed my shoes, putting them on, I dashed out the door with no hesitation. I knew being early wasn't exactly the best thing to do with a sensei like Kakashi, but I did it always. My hair was still damp, which made the long locks of hair that are usually at the side of my face hang over the front of it. It was irritating, but they eventually dried up while waiting for Kakashi. As if on cue, he arrives.
"Sorry for getting here late, I was-"
----------------------------------
"Save it" I muttered under my breath, but I knew what he was saying. It's always the same lame excuse but I never bought it. All three members of team seven knew what he was really doing. He was reading that stupid book of his. I'm not exactly sure, but at the same time, I'm sure not even Naruto would be fooled by that excuse.
-----------------------------------
I feel a sudden tap on the shoulder and I'm not surprised to see emerald orbs locked on me. Does this girl have any idea what personal space is? I would hope she does, because I see she doesn't enjoy the close ranged company of a blonde headed weirdo.
"Hey, Sasuke. How is your day going?" She says, completely ignoring Naruto. I shrug and turn away, only to see that excuse for a grin in front of me.
"So, Sasuke! Ya' ready for today?"
'Ready for what?' I thought, I raised a brow, making it rather clear that I had no idea what he was talking about.
He chuckled with his arms behind his back.
What was so funny? I don't know.
"Oh cmon' Sasuke don't act dumb! I'm gonna train with ya' today to increase your stamina! Believe it!"
Naruto.
Naruto training me?!
When had I, ever agreed to THIS.
Then everything comes back to me. I remember agreeing to something but I never imagined it would be this. There's no way I'm training with a loser like him. So, I just have to decline. Though it won't exactly be easy since he's a stubborn one. I shrugged it off an ignored what he had just said.
"C'mon Sasuke! You want to be able to handle more than just two chidori strikes don't ya'?!"
Was he threatening me?! Oh that loser is so dead.
"Fine." I say, as I'm accepting some sort of challenge.
"Alright then! Let's go!"
I'm not kidding, he literally drags me to who knows where. I can tell he's serious about helping me. I can hear it in his tone. That determination. It bothers me somewhat, because its something I don't have. When we get there, he grins, not a kind grin, a grin that says; 'let's get to it!' Or 'I mean business'. I simply look at him; "Tsk.... Let's do this..... I guess."
