The Reasons to Love! (Dalesha Story)

Today was Alesha Birthday.  

She was turning 40,  She wanted to stay young.  She lay'd in bed.  She grabbed her phone and looked at it.  She couldn't remember a thing.  She remembered the dinner and then, a blackout.  Her head ached.  She heard footsteps.  The door opened.  "Morning, love" David said.  

Alesha head was spinning, "Damn'it, Why the bloody fucking hell did I have to drink" She yelled.  David chuckled but, stopped.   Alesha sat up.  "Do you know something about last night" She asked.  David nodded.

He had told her everything.  She was shocked.  "W-we k-kissed' she asked.  David nodded.  "But, I don't regret it" he said softly.  Alesha looked at him.  "You don't?" She asked.  David nodded again.  "If I could remember, and I wish I did, I would never regret it" She said blushing.  David had smiled at her.  He took her hand and kissed it.  "Would you love to hang out sometime, My dear" David asked.  Alesha nodded.

David smiled.  Alesha got out of bed and walked to the bathroom.  She closed the door and was smiling to herself.  She liked him so much and probably more than, like, maybe love?  

Alesha wasn't going to throw a party cause her parents are busy and her other friends.  She wished she could see her daughter.  They didn't have work today.  It was canceled cause of how cold it was.  David went how grab something his gift.  

Alesha went to check her mail.  Alesha saw a letter from her ex-husband.  She walked inside.  She opened it.  It was a picture, of him, her daughter, and A woman...  Alesha read it.  "Happy Birthday, I know you don't miss me bitch, but our daughter says other wise, I found someone new, and were getting married, she's also pregnant with MY child,  Have fun" The card said.  

Alesha dropped it.  She hadn't see her daughter in so long.  She was 9 already.  Alesha ran upstairs.  She hid under the covers on her bed.  She was upset.  She didn't care about him or that woman.  She cared about her daughter.  Her phone binged and it was a message.  It was her daughter walking home from school.  Her daughter ran inside the house and screamed "MOMMY!".  Alesha dropped her phone.   She was hurt.  "Why did I fall for him"  She asked herself.

I got the house and held a carrier.  Once I opened the house door.  I noticed something on the couch.  I set the carrier down and picked up the card.  I had looked through the words.  I got mad "That bitch" I whispered.  I heard something upstairs and I ran.  I tried to open her bedroom door.  "Alesha?" I asked.  "Go Away," I heard her say before crying.  "Love please" I said.  She went silent.  I knocked again.  No answer.  "Love" I asked.  I began to walk away.  I heard the door unlock but, I continued to walk away.  "D-don't leave, please" she spoke.  I turned around.  She was standing in the doorway with her Pajamas still on.  I walked towards her.  I hugged her tightly but, gentle.  She hugged me back.  

"Why? are you a-always there for me" Alesha asked, she said staring at the floor.  David let go.  He lift her chin.   "Cause, your the only thing bright in this world, Your my world" David said, grinning.  Alesha giggled, "That was cheesy" Alesha laughed.  David smirked and picked her up.  "I have a present" David said walking down stairs.

Alesha saw a carrier opened.  "Damn-it, it got out" David said, setting Alesha down.  She seemed curious.  "What got out?" She asked confused.  She heard something from her bathroom.  David ran towards the bathroom.  She ran the same direction.  She heard David grunt.  She opened the bathroom door.  David was holding a puppy in his arms and sat in the bathtub.  Alesha giggled.  She grabbed the dog and helped David up.  

David had a exhausted look on his face.  Alesha was petting the dog.  "Happy Birthday, love" David said and kissed her cheek.  Alesha was shocked.   She was red.  "Thanks, Prince" She smiled.  "What will you name him"David asked.  "Charles or Edward" She said, smiling at him.  "Are you calling him my middle name or the guy from Twilight" David asked.  "Your middle name"  She said giggling.  She set the dog down and it ran upstairs.  "Thanks again, David"  Alesha said wrapping her arms around his neck.  He put his hands on her waist.  "your welcome, Love" He said.  He went in and pecked her lips.  She was shocked but,  kissed him back.

David pushed her up against the wall.  They continued to kiss.  David pulled away.  Alesha and David were out of breathe.  David opened his eyes and looked at her.  He went down to her neck and kissed it.

  She giggled.  The dog came around the corner and jumped on David's leg.  David pulled away and bent down.  Alesha got on her knees and the dog jumped on her.  David picked the dog up and grabbed Alesha hand.  He sat on the couch and Alesha sat next to him.

It was 10:47 pm, They covered up in a blanket and fell asleep.    Alesha was cuddled up on David.  David was still awake.  The dog had fall asleep in his lap.  He had everything he wanted but, it was better than anything in his life. 

It was Love. ❤
