Hello, welcome to the first chapter

Hope this will go well

Anyway ON TO THE STORY

As the sun began to rise over the hills and shine down on a little valley town. The birds were chirping, the stream that ran along the far side of the town was trickling gently, and the dew covered flowers glistened gently in the morning light. As the town starts to stir, one person in a moderately large house at the end of the street quite far from other houses, lives Y/n L/n, a calm and collected young writer. They sat on their porch, looking out at the town, whilst sipping on a fresh cup of coffee/tea (A/n personally like tea myself, but that's just me) enjoying the fresh air of the outdoors. They contently sighed, wishing to stay in that atmosphere a little longer, but they knew that they had to go back inside soon, so they stood up and proceed to head back inside to continue their story they had been writing for awhile now. They got up and reentered the house for another long day of writing and communicating with their editor.

It was late into the afternoon and Y/n was feeling a bit hungry so they decided to make something for lunch, dinner?, dunch?, whatever they were making food. They decided to make a simple meal and sit on the couch and watch a good movie. As they were making the meal, a

faint knock came from the front door.

(Y/n's pov hot damn)

What the, I'm not expecting a package, nor am I expecting visitors, so who could that be? I walked over to the door, but not without wielding my mighty weapon, the powerful HIKING STICK.........don't judge me it is the closest thing I could find that was not a shoe or a book. I walk over to my front door not knowing what to expect, and as I open the door, I braced myself for whatever may be on the other side, meanwhile hiding my weapon of choice behind the door. On the other side I was met by a calico cat anthro, a bit on the short side compared to me, wearing a red and navy-blue striped t-shirt, a pair a blue jeans with frayed ends and holes around the knees, a little green suitcase at her side, and designer glasses that made her eyes pop out. She looked nervous, I would not know why, and a bit wet, which I just noticed that it was raining a bit but not too much.

"Um h-hello I'm Audri Catalin, the one that was sent to live with you by the Cultural exchange agency, I-I am at the correct address r-right?"

Cultural exchange agency? Oh yeah, right, those guys that have been on the news recently hoping to introduce other species into our civilization, but I don't remember ever coming into contacting the company for any reason, so why is she here?

"Um I am very sorry miss, but I am not sure that you got the right address."

She tilted her head, looking a bit confused, and then started rummaging through her bag.

"But I was sure I got the right address from the form that was given to me, could you have a look to help me out, i-if you don't mind o-of course."

She hands me a sheet of paper, lamented and everything, and I started looking through the information to find the address that was listed for her.

"Well, yes that is my address, but I never actually signed up to be a host for one of your kind, I don't even know why my address is in here."

She gave off a look as if she had did something wrong.

"I am so sorry sir, I didn't know this happened I am completely so-"

I cut her off before she could finish.
