Admission: Young Hermes was a mythologist and a thief in training for most of his life. He was an apprentice to the rich Jordan Jacoby; the most famous, trusted and successful mythologist in all of Opal City at the time. Jordan was the founding father of the  JJ National History Museum in downtown Canary Springs. Working for Jordan  took Hermes all over the world and it also satisfied his fascination with the ancient Greeks. But also Hermes worked as Jacoby's personal thief. Jordan Jacoby would take Hermes to the most wonderful museums to teach him about ancient civilizations, however that was just a cover up........ Jacoby would make Hermes steal priceless artifacts and then later sell them on the black market. Hermes was initially responsible for the millions that Jacoby owned in the first place.This long term situation, made Hermes proficient in the art of thievery.  In the limelight Jacoby was everything he could ever want in a father, he was the perfect father figure, but behind closed doors Jacoby was a drunk and was very abusive. He would slap Hermes around every chance he got. But Hermes still loved him though, he was all he had for a father. One day, while touring in a museum in Greece, Jacoby got caught stealing. In order to keep his image, he blamed Hermes for the crime, he also paid a Grecian local to knock him out and dump him somewhere that would link Hermes to the crime , with the authorities focused on investigating Hermes, Jacoby fled back to the states. Hermes awoke that night in the temple of Zeus only to realize what had happened. Once he pieced everything together,  He began to hate Jacoby for everything, for using and abusing him, and for trying to blame him for stealing , when Jordan told him to do it in the first place. He wished he had a real father. A strong father, someone who could love him unconditionally, someone invincible, someone like ....Zeus. That night........ "Zeus" came from the heavens and talked to him and told him that Jacoby should pay for not returning the love he had gave. Using his skills in the art of theft and stealth,  he pick pocketed and robbed enough people,  until he came up with enough money to get a passport ....and to get a ticket home. Once there, he donned the name Mercury, and made it his mission to find and punish Jacoby. Stealing technology from the SNTF, he hacked into the satellites and located his former father. Once he found him he murdered his former father and dismembered him sacrificial style. He had finally served his one and true father. Shortly after, surprisingly,  he was caught stealing into the SNTF weapons department....
