Scenery

Chapter One

Yoongi came home first before the others. He had a long day being in school and only wanted to come home and drop in his bed to sleep and not wake up until dinner. He walked in and put his book bag on the couch. He looked around and it was completely silent. "weird," he said in a whisper as he started to walk around looking for Taehyung. It was never this silent when he got home Tae was always up to something.

"Tae?" he said out loud wondering if he was even home.

No response. He continued to walk around and stopped at Tae's bedroom door. He stood there silently for a second until he heard sniffling coming from the inside. He hated hearing or seeing any of his friends cry. He might not show emotion that much to them but deep down his friends were his world and they knew it somehow. Yoongi tried opening his room door but it was locked. "Tae?" he asked worriedly as he jerked the knob in an attempt to open it as if it was just going to unlock itself if he tried hard enough. Taehyung quickly dried his tears and fixed himself.

"coming!" he said hurriedly.

He went to the door and opened it.

"hi Yoongi!" he said with a big smile trying to hide the fact he was crying. Yoongi saw his swollen eyes, he had been living long enough with Taehyung to know something was very wrong.

"why were you crying?" he asked and looked at Tae.

"I wasn't crying I think you were just hearing things," Tae said defensively.

"I know what I heard Tae. Why were you crying?" Yoongi asked him.

"are you okay?" Yoongi asked again with worry filling his voice.

Taehyung was holding his hand in a fist behind his back the entire time trying to prevent himself from crying but as soon as Yoongi asked more questions the more he felt like crying. He couldn't contain himself any longer when he asked if he was okay. Tae's fist was now an open palm and tears streamed down his face. Yoongi's eyes widened at the sight he saw Taehyung slouching down but he quickly hugged him.

"Tae what's going on?" he asked him full of worry.

Taehyung could barely speak. His sobs wouldn't let him get a word out and Yoongi understood. He walked with him inside his room never letting him go and sat with him on his bed. Yoongi laid down with Tae hoping he'd get some rest since he had been crying for so long. He covered himself and Tae with the blanket. He refused to let the younger go. Tae continued to cry but his sobs slowly calming down he hugged Yoongi as well and was soon no longer crying but instead deep asleep. Yoongi looked at the younger full of concern and worry as to who or what could have made him cry this much. Soon Yoongi started hearing voices meaning the others had arrived. He got up slowly and left a pillow in replacement. He walked out and slowly closed Tae's bedroom door. He rushed to the people walking in.

"sh! Tae's asleep" he told them as they walked in.

"That's weird, he's usually awake" Namjoon whispered as he took his shoes off.

"I know, maybe he had a long day" Yoongi whispered back not wanting to speak of how he had found Tae earlier. He didn't feel like he should talk about it. Maybe Tae didn't want them to know and he respected that.

"it was quiet when I got here too so I went to check up on him but he was just asleep" Yoongi continued. They walked to the kitchen together.

"what are we having for dinner?" Jungkook whispered as he followed them.

"not sure" Yoongi replied,

"where's Jimin and Hoseok?" Yoongi asked again noticing they weren't there.
