Shadow and Crimson

Dying in the Labyrinth of Death

It had been several months since the birth of the triplets Skyker, Dove, and Max. Crimson and Shadow loved them dearly. But one of them had gotten sick. Skyler had caught a sickness that would take away her powers and immortality.

Shadow attempted to contact Jack, but he was busy and wasn't available. Although he could not be there himself he told Jack of a clone of him. Jack informed Shadow of a Labyrinth that his clone was currently taking residence.

Shadow arrived at the Labyrinth with a letter from Jack. Apparently this clone was not friendly to strangers.

Shadow entered cautiously he heard scraping and scratching. He felt along the walls remembering the path Jack told him to take.

A scream came from deeper in the maze. Shadow stopped in fear. He then thought about what would happen if he failed, his daughter would die and have no chance of coming back like him.

Shadow continued onwards.

Shadow stepped into the middle of the maze and saw a man. He looked exactly like Jack, "I am Shadow, son of......" he didn't get to finish.

The Jack Clone held the limp body of Shadow in his grip. He searched the young assassins body and found the letter. He read threw it and face palmed. If the real Jack found out he would be in trouble.

Shadow sighed as he again saw the plains of Purgatory for the fifth time. He then felt the familiar pull back towards the living world.

After a quick exchange of words Clone Jack and Shadow appeared at Shadow's and Crimson's home. The Clone walked to Skyler and began healing her. After some time he finished and left without a word. Shadow sent a message to the real Jack asking for a cask of Elf Wine to be sent to the lonely Clone as a thank you.
