Clementine x Reader- Insane

The apocolypse has gone to Clementines head. The poor girl has gone crazy due to hunger and mental health. Will the reader get away in time?

It was quiet in the school, mostly due to the fear of clementine. After dealing with the raiders, clem had changed for the worse. She became angry and dry, sometimes even attacking people.

Everyone was terrified. Clem had taken AJ with her and they hadn't come back. We were all hungry, starving. Waiting for any food at all.

Before I could go to check up on Clem and AJ, Aasim and Louis had returned with little to no food at all. We all bowed are heads with worry.

If this kept up we would die. We needed to get clem to take us to that trainstation again, it was our only hope.

I explained my task and walked to Clem's dorm, shivering as I reached the door. I knocked before sliding the door open slightly.

I froze as I saw the scene before me. There Clem was crouching over AJ, the crunch of flesh rung in my ears.

I couldn't help but throw up. My head spun as I looked up. She was now staring at me, a bloodied knife by her side. Glancing at AJ, I saw his pain strucken face.

I began to cry as Clem stood up, edging her way towards me. Reflex kicked in as I slammed the door in her face, quickly running to tell the others.

I ran into Louis, who looked shocked at my condition. He screamed at me to tell him what happened, I hushed him quickly before pushing him into a dorm and locking the door.

I couldn't let him die.

Sprinting out of the door, I noticed no one was here. They had all gone inside. I gripped my hair, my mind racing.

A scream echoed through the school; Violet.

I ran as fast as my legs could carry me to Violets dorm. Blood has painted the halls, fuck the others must had ran into her.

My eyes were stained with tears as I kicked open Violets door. But it was too late.

Clem had gotten her.

Staring at Violets dead body, I hardly noticed Clem standing in the corner, watching my every move. Crouching down, I held Violets face. Her complection even more pale than before.

The tears escaped my eyes. It was all going so well before.

A hand gripped my hood, slamming me up the wall and pinning me there. Clem stood holding me, smiling a killer smile.

Her face was stained with blood, her beautiful face was twisted with insanity.

"Hungry..." She whispered, only loud enough for me to hear. Her hands neared me, her knife close to my neck.

I gulped as she went to cut my jacket. Gathering up the courage, I pushed her back, causing her to hit her head on the desk behind her.

Quickly, I grabbed the knife and ran out. I needed to get Louis and the others. While on my way, I saw Willy and Tenn shivering. I quickly gripped their hands and lead them to Louis. Who, thank god, was safe.

"We need to get out now."

The three of them looked at me with fear and confusion, scared of what will happen.

"What about Ruby?!" Willy shouted, he had been crying, his face stained red.

"She's gone...she...she tried to stop clem from getting to me.."

He stood staring at the ground, hurt by what happened. I took his hand, smiling a warm smile.

"She wanted to protect you, please don't blame yourself. Remember shes in that other world. With sophie, Marlon, Brody, Mitch...Violet..."

Louis hung his head low, wiping his face. I hugged him tight, letting him cry.

After a couple of minutes, I suggested we get out before she wakes up.

We all grabbed our weapons and ran out of the school, leaving all our memories behind.

Shit. Aasim. I stopped as we reached the road. Louis looked back at me confused.

"Did Aasim make it?"

They became silent. Willy shook his head before explaining that we needed to go further. I nodded slightly  before holding Tenns hand.

"(Y/N)...where are we going?"

I glanced ahead at Louis and Willy. My head spun with thoughts of clementine, of the girl I fell in love with. I had known her since the beginning and my stomach growled with the thought of leaving her, but she was too dangerous.

I looked back at the school bell tower, remembering the good times I had with Clem, how we shared secrets, danced, cuddled, smiled.

How me and  Violet both shared our love for chicken nuggets, or how me and Aasim went hunting. AJ and I dancing at the party before we went to get Violet back.

I was snapped back to reality when Louis placed his hand on my shoulder, his other wiping my fresh tears away.

"We're seeing where this dirty road will take us....its better than sitting around and waiting to die."
