The HYBRID's Shattered DREAMS

{18}spicy breakfast

After 10 min into playing cards we all called it a night and went to sleep. I put on my blindfolds as usual and twist and turn until I slowly drift into what I would call a "normal sleep".

" I'm in a black room that has a small tiny light shining right through it. There is a girl trying to touch it but it's like there is an invincible wall that's blocking her to go through. The girl starts getting agitated as she tries to push through the barrier  more violently, she bangs her fist in her attempt to go through this light until she slowly loses hope and slips down against the barrier and sobs silently... "help me" she whispers her voice so low I almost didn't catch it. " Help me !" She demands louder this time. Ok now I'm confused. Yes in these dreams these people have made eye contact but they could never truly see me or try to communicate with me. The girl walks up to me and just as she is about to touch me...

" baby baby baby oh"

I wake up to the sound of Justin bieber's voice as I realise that my phone is ringing. Still in my sleepy state I pat at the right side of the bed under my pillow in search of the annoying sound of my phone that woke me up so early. Finally grabbing it I answer without looking.

"Hello?" My raspy voice sells me out that I'm still sleeping.

" Oh hey honey did I wake you up?" My mom's energetic voice booms through my ear.

"NO not really", I lie just to cut the conversation shorter.

"Oh ok I was just checking up on you, how are things over there?" She asks while panting.

"Well things are cool mom everything is great, how are things on your side?"

"Oh I'm well I'm currently taking a jog right now and trust me when I say this place is beautiful, there are trees every where with beauti-..."

"Ok mom I get you having a great time can we have this convo later?"

"Alright sweetie call me later, I love you mwa." She hangs up the phone.

I love you too. I say it back in my mind. I quickly take of the blindfolds and put on my purple shades as I get of the bed and take a quick shower.
After that I brush my teeth and fix my hair into a ponytail realising that my mom helped me by calling and waking me up. As I walk down the stairs into the kitchen I find storm and lightning helping themselves to cereal so I join them too.

"So will you ride with me today or what?" Lightning asks while taking a mouthful spoon of cheerios.

"Why would he want to ride with you when there is me?" Storm rolls his eyes.

"It's cool guys you don't have to fuss about anything I'll use charisma"

"Who is charisma?" Lightning asks.

"Oh that's my car" I answer ignorantly.

"Where is it, I mean I've never seen it around?" Storm asks.

"Oh that's because I parked it at the far end garage" I answer.

"You mean that old thing?" Lighting and storm answer at the same time with their mouths agape.

I Squint my eyes as I give them the nastiest look I could master.

"If you ever say such a word about charisma again I'm going to skin the both of you alive and make you eat your ignorant stupid words back do I make myself clear?" I make the statement or rather the question with the words coming out of my teeth and holding a knife on my right hand just for emphasis to get my point across.

"Yes mam I think that's my cue to leave". Lightning backs away with her hands lifted in the air while walking backwards.

"I didn't know you could be so spicy", storm and I being the only two in the room, I stand up and walk towards the door but before I walk out I give him a glance.

"There is a lot you do not know about me" ,and I walk out of the room leaving him with an inquisitive look and myself feeling like a hero who has just dropped a huge bombshell.
