"Please remember me even if you won't be seeing me anymore." The last words I've heard from her.
I looked down to my feet, drenching in cold rain.
"Ha ha..ha ha..ha ha!" I laughed hard but my sorrow is piercing me deep inside. I let the rain wash this loneliness but as every hair is numbered so as my longing to be freed from this lonesome world.
Down on my knees, I let the time passes by in the middle of the road.
"Beep Beep Beep!" I heard from my back. I could not ignore the signs and reality that a truck is coming right behind me. I commanded my body to stand up but it refused.
"Come on, move it..." I hesitantly command my body again. This time, I managed to stand up but as I started to make my step away from the road, I suddenly tripped off, loosing my balance and stumbled down. With my soul being awaken now, of all times and places where I could be tripping off without dying, just why is it now and here? Then out of the blue, my face dropped right to the other side of the road. I heard a rush sound and tumult has joined the singing of the rain.
"I swear someone has pushed my back..." I could not hardly tell myself. The truck behind me a while ago made its way to the old tree, hitting the old big tree! And to my surprise, there's a woman lying at the center of the road! Few seconds later, a big noise was made by the old tree falling to the truck.
"No matter how strong the root is, it'll still be cut down by the twist of fate." Murmured by a man right beside me.
"Are you ok dude? That was a call of life." He smirked.
"Yes I am. How did I end up in here?" I asked.
"Lucky you! Seems like there was a brave heart pushed you in here." He pointed out the woman still lying on the road and now people are intriguing the scene as the heaven slowly stops crying.
There's a serene coming from somewhere and I could also hear the splashes of water made by each passing feet, the patrol cars and the ambulance. The lesser I could hear the sound of the rain the more I hear the noises made by every tiny things surrounding me. It is as if I am listening to an orchestra but as I draw near to the woman who pushed me, there is a melody of a requiem.
Three days later.....
"I have to find him first. Its about time." I hanged up.
