"Mom is that all of it," I yelled from a distant.
"Yep."
As I go in the truck so me and my mom would drive 10 hour to our new house in California. The first 4 hours were fun but then the next 6 hour were just plain boring.
Right when we finally got there i hopped out of the truck and quickly started to up pack with my mom. A hour and a half I finished unloading the truck with furniture and everything. I went to my room to unpack my stuff as I stared I heard a knock on the door.
" I got it mom."
I went down stairs and open the door there stood a women with carmel looking hair and hazel eyes.
"Hello my name is Carrie and im your next door neighbor."
"Hi nice to meet you my name is Katy and my moms name is Jenny."
" Nice to meet you and I brought you nice people my home baked cocoanut cream pie as a welcome gift."
"Who at the door Katy"
"A neighbor"
"Well invite them in for tea"
" Carrie would you like to join us for tea"
"Sure why not"
As Carrie and my mom started to talk I went back to my room and started putting things away. as I thought about what life here would be like and remember that I start school in a week a half. I am nervous and wonder if I can make friends.
I went down stairs to see mom. she was still with Carrie so I just went back up and was listening to music. After 20 mins of listening to music my mom came and said,
"You need something Hun"
"Ya I just wanted to know if you needed help unpacking boxes"
"No Hun I got it. by the way just letting you know Carrie as a son your age going to the same school you should be friend."
" Sure if that were to happen"
My mom left the room. I went through my shoes and said "mom I'm going for a walk"
"Okay Hun"
As I walk out I ran into someone.
"Hey watch where your going." a deep voice said.
"No, watch where going cause you ran to me" I said rubbing my head.
Has i looked up I saw a tall handsome boy.
