"we are the broken generation, the kids with the lonely nights and the toxic thoughts. we are feared upon society not because of our recklessness, but because we look at disasters and smile with hope."-Sonal Sonawane. Yes we are that broken generation. We look at disasters with hope, we think because someone doesn't love us, doesn't mean we can't love them. There's so many broken hearts walking around, we fall in love to easily, we fall in love with their looks and not their hearts. We look at other people's life's and wish that was us. Instead of making our lives the fullest, and living our lives the way we want too. we follow a crowd, we follow what our parents want us to do, we follow what our friends want us to do and we don't focus on ourselves and what we want. We let our thoughts be washed away with   vodka and weed. We wash our thoughts away because it helps us cope. It helps us cope with the fact we aren't happy. We party and we lie to our parents, we focus on living our life the wrong way. We don't play outside anymore, we lay in our beds and think about how miserable we are. We don't visit our grandparents house anymore even though they don't have much time left. We argue over boys, we break ourselves loving someone that doesn't love us, we fight for things that are toxic for us. We drain our body's with nicotine and alcohol. We cry and beg god to take us. When we shouldn't be doing that. We should be getting up, and going to the coffee shop meeting new people. respecting each other no matter what. relationships, friendships. we should be respecting, not belittling each other over what we can't help.
