A/N

Hello! Happy almost Friday!

This is absolutely one of my favorites. It came straight from the mind of Leslie (@kaycinpoint), who is literally the love of my life.  She also edited it for me??? Unreal. She's unreal.

I also hit 5k reads this week which...how and why...I love you guys so much. Thank you for reading this nonsense.

ANYWAY, I talk too much, I'm sorry. Okay. Bye.

Thanks for being here.

"Okay, so I'm thinking if we can meet up on Sunday and maybe get through the first half of the song, we'll have enough time to finish and then shoot next week, yeah?" Sean looked to his friend who was nodding in agreement.

"Yeah man I think that should work," Julian started. "My flight back to LA gets in on Friday, so I'm for sure just going to sleep until we meet up," he started to laugh.

"How has China been, man? It looks like you've been busy," Sean said, his attention immediately being pulled from the video call to the person running into his room. Before he could realize what was happening, Kaycee was throwing herself onto his bed and into his arms.

"Boo!" She exclaimed, moving to press her lips into his. Feeling him tense up, she pulled back, suddenly embarrassed of her own advance. She giggled nervously before continuing, "What's up?"

Sean, now biting down onto his lip, moved his eyes from Kaycee to the computer sitting directly in front of him. Kaycee squinted her eyes at him before turning around and looking herself.

"Oh, God!" She exclaimed, jumping off the bed. She brought her hands to her face, which was quickly turning a deep red.

"Uhhh, hey Kayc..." Julian trailed off.

Eyes closed, she began to shake her head. She scrunched her face up, still out of view of Julian, and replied with a shaky voice, "What's up, Julian?"

Sean, staring directly at Kaycee, let out a snort before bringing a hand to his mouth in an attempt to stifle the laughter. He and Kaycee had recently concluded that what they felt for each other was more than a friendship. It was so recent, in fact, that not a single one of their friends knew, Julian included.

"Listen, guys, I'm not, uh, sure what that was," Julian began, feeling increasingly awkward. "Let's just agree that I didn't see anything."

Neither Sean nor Kaycee spoke, both of them staring blankly at each other. After a minute, she spoke up, "Well. I'm going to leave, now." She turned on her heels and walked quickly out of the room.

Sean kept his gaze locked on his open doorway, unable to look back to Julian. Letting out the breath he had been holding in, he did his best to erase the shock from his face before turning back to his computer.

"Well. I guess first of all sorry for not saying anything about us." Sean was finding it difficult to conceal his smile, the feeling of Kaycee on his lips still present. " It's new and we're still figuring things out. We were going to tell everyone soon, just wanted to find a good time,"

"No, dude, don't be sorry. It's not really any of my business," Julian was smiling right back at Sean, feeling excited more than anything that the two had finally gotten together. He, along with the rest of their friends, had been waiting for it for over a year, each of them taking bets on how long it would take. "I meant what I said, though, I didn't see anything. Not my secret to let out."

"Cool, cool..." Sean trailed off, still trying to hide his grin. "So...I'm going to go find her, now," he laughed.

"Go get your girl, brother. I'll see you this weekend," Julian winked at his best friend, earning a sheepish smile from him, before ending the call.

Sean hopped off his bed and walked out into the hall where he found Kaycee sitting on the top of the steps. He let out another snort as she turned to look at him, her face full of embarrassment. He walked over to her and took a seat.

"Well hello," he turned his head to look at her.

She nodded her head and let out a small giggle, "Yep. Hi."

"Did I know you were coming over?"

"No, I wanted to surprise you," she replied timidly.

"A surprise it was. So was the kiss..." he trailed off.

Impossible as it seemed, her blush deepened. She looked away, replying between giggles, "I wasn't expecting it, either. I just got so excited to see you."

Sean looked down at his hands, a smile taking over his face. He was always so excited to be around her, it was refreshing to be reminded that she felt the same.

"Is Julian mad?" Her voice brought him back from his thoughts.

"Nope. He seemed pretty excited, actually, he couldn't stop smiling."

"Looks like we're going to have to tell everyone else now, too," Kaycee fidgeted with the hem of her shirt. She was enjoying being in a world of their own and wasn't sure if she was ready to welcome anyone else into it yet.

Sean looked over and reached his hand out to grab hers, entwining their fingers, before replying, "Not if you don't want to. He promised he wouldn't say anything."

"Really?" She quickly replied, visibly perking up.

Sean laughed and moved his arm, fingers still knotted with hers, to be draped over her shoulders. He pulled her closer into him and replied, "Really," before giving her a kiss on the top of her head.

Kaycee looked up to him and smiled before reaching her free hand up to rest on the back of his neck. Sean leaned to press his forehead against hers as she tangled her fingers into his hair. Slowly, he moved to kiss her, feeling the corners of her mouth curl up against his. He pulled back, taking a moment to appreciate the girl sitting in front of him.

"Hungry?" he asked.

Kaycee gave him a big grin, replying quickly, "Yes!"

They made their way down the steps and into the kitchen where Kaycee jumped onto the counter to watch as Sean prepared a lunch for the both of them. He could feel her watching his every move, and laughed before turning to her.

"What?"

Kaycee shook her head, unable to contain her smile. "Just feeling lucky."
