Celena awoke to the sound of screams that could have matched the pitch of Bartoli, she glanced at the clock, 2:36 am. Rolling her eyes she sauntered down the stairs, confident at her ability to comfort - or threaten - her clients out of making that much noise again.
She had never understood humans, their feelings and pain were the only things from quantum physics to Twelfth Night that confused her neurological gears. Celena pressed her hand to her own heart; a thing of carved stone, controlling the rest of her electronic organs, no feelings had ever reached a place so cold as the ice that was her soul and being.
When the fem-machine entered the foyer serving as her clients quarters, she was no longer a robot in her house, but an entrepreneur in her workplace. As this thought entered her head, Celena smiled, the silver cogs turning, like dancers inside the human-like exterior. Shaking the concept out of her mind, she turned her attention back to the task at hand.
"Zach," she called, covering her ears, should the pitch of the yells blow a fuse "come on out, there's nothing to be afraid of, for God's sake, what's the problem? It's just a bunch of sounds..." so her escapade continued until eventually the screams stopped. "Finally," Celena taunted under her breath. Looking around, she gasped and stumbled backwards into the record player, turning on the speaker
" Hello robot," the recording began, "You're too late, I'd highly recommend turning yourself in, pleading guilty to the crime committed and, not mentioning this recording. I did it, and will target a certain fem-machine next, should the need arise. And before you disobey me, I'd remember which one of us has a gun." Pulse racing faster than the speed of light, Celena looked at the spectacle before her, wide eyed and gasping, for there in front of her was the stone cold corpse of Zach Veise. The late. For the first time since her manufacturing, Celena blacked out.
When her eyelids could finally bear to tear themselves away from each other, Celena smirked at the faces of the two police officials next to her, deeply troubled and living off caffeine. She did a double take, Police Officials? Turning to the young lieutenant beside her, Lena questioned everything; " Why am I here? Is it 'cause of the murder? Who did it? Did you hear the-" She cut short her sentence, remembering the threats made on the recording, but there was no turning back,"Did I hear what?" however the lieutenant's heart obviously wasn't in the question, she left the fem-machine no time to explain "As for the reason you're here, that is of concern. You see, you were the only person at the crime scene and you are of course the only heartless robot for miles." Celena didn't need to hear more, her confidence dropped. The lieutenant's point was clear: Celena Sarensia and her heart of stone were being charged with murder.
