Heavenly Chant

We arrived at Keitsu's house and when I ran to the living room, the first think I saw were a puddle of ruby-like colored blood.

I gasped in disbelief and as my eyes gaze at the ceiling, it was the symbol again. It was drawn in blood, and body parts of Keitsu and her husband on the sides of the triangles and the baby was represented as the eye on the middle.

Kiri, who was just behind me got disgusted by the scenario.

"What.. are we going to do now?.." he stuttered.

I didn't answer, instead I rushed upstairs to our room and grabbed my laptop out of its bag.

I turned it on and searched for a chant for all of this non-sense, this has gone way TOO far!

Kiri waited outside of the room to check out if there are some demons nearby, he was holding a holy water bottle behind his back.

"Come on baby.." I said softly while scrolling and clicking various links and websites, hoping for the right chant.

I came across to the right chant and it just clicked to me that this one is right.. it has GOT to be!

I grabbed a sheet of paper and wrote it down I then ran outside to inform Kiri, leaving my laptop on.

We quickly ran towards the car and he started driving without knowing where to go,"Lucy- Where do we go now?!" he yelled.

I flinched, feeling nervous. "To-To the Tokyo! They chose that place because there are a lot of people there"

He then drove in high speed and I stared at the chant on the paper, This is too risky.. But at least I'll die with dignity I thought to myself and sighed.

A few hours have passed by, we finally arrived to Tokyo.

It looked normal but in the dark corners.. There were shadows of demons.

The streets were busy as usual and vendors were busy serving the customer's orders, we went to the highest building and went to the rooftop.

I turn around to face Kiri,"I have to do this on my own.. It says here that only one person can do it.." I smiled and he looked at me like he's disapproving.

"What-?! I can't let you go there and die!! Don't you remember?! We can do this together?! I don't care what the site you went to said, let's just do this together.. Even if we die or survive it, we should be together.." he said while gripping on my hands.

Tears almost fell down but I wiped it off, I shook my head and pushed him inside and locked the door, leaving me outside on the cold starry night.

I walked towards the middle and wind were blowing through my body and hair, I breathe heavily.

I grabbed the sheet of paper and started the chant;

"Dear Heavens up above,

DemiGods, Gods and Godesses

Come forth and help us

For thy demons are upon us" 

As I was chanting, I heard screeching noise of the demons. Surrounding me and all I could see were fogs-like shadows of them.

I just ignored it and continued my chant;

"Oh dear Heavens above,

Help us from the demons upon us

Gods,DemiGods, Godesses

People from Earth yearn for your saviour!"

As I finished,

the fogs were gone it was quiet and no sight of the creatures.

I looked around and saw a sillhouette in front of me. My feet suddenly moved, walking towards it.

As I was now near it, the sillhouette turned out to be a girl. So beautiful with those long and curla on the ends blonde.

She was wearing sandals and a somewhat robe-like dress, I knew she was the messenger from above.

"Dear child, you have save all of us. For that we will reward you for eternity life" she said softly, like a sweet melody.

"No.. I can't take your reward, I must stay mortal and die when it is my time. Together with my husband"

She nodded and dissappeared.

Everything has come to an end, that's what I thought. But I was wrong.

A small hole from where I stand appeared a gray hand pulled me down,"Wha- Hey!! Stop it!!" I kicked its hand and it flied in mid-air and left me on the cold ground.

"Who.. Who are you?!" I asked. "Don't you know? It's me, your dear friend! Kuchisake" she smiled.

From the looks of her, she seemed to have upgraded! I couldn't know her because of her black wings and demon eye, with a robe-like dress too but the color is red.

"Why have you come back?!"

"I came back to kill you! You spoiled our plan, you ruined it!! Ruined I tell you.. Ruined!!" 

She came rushing me and stranggle me on the neck, I couldn't breathe! But then I remembered that I have a holy water bottle on my pocket.

I quickly grabbed it and spilled it all over her, leaving her burned and screaming.

I coughed a bit and cleared my voice, she was near me- dying.

She blinked and her demon eyes were glowing bright red, made me felt like I was hypnotized.

I suddenly walked towards her and she climbed to me and opened my stomach and ate my insides.

I was still in deep hypno that I didn't felt a single pain, although I started crying- like a statue who suddenly cried.
